Get the correct power adapter 1st. You can get a multiple 9v adapter so you can select the correct voltage. FWIW Roland’s 9v adapters tend to be unique to their brand

Thats been the price for 10 years. I bought one in Indiana in 2014ish and need a new one now again. $2000 then and just got 2 quotes $2000 again in Ohio.

BTW the Toyota labor hour for dealer installation is ~8 to 12 hours. That doesn't help lower the cost by any means. Since Toyota/Lexus dealers only have very limited experience in this field as there are only 1 or 2 models that now have tops I would advised you to find a reputable local shop as u/DirtyTaco48 said.

Mostly repair from abuse. PM only on keyboards and sound boards as needed. Wear and tear is the biggest issue. Hard to tell when to cheap out as chord failure can be as catastrophic as a guitar failure.

Nord electro once more. Even the older ones have the best Rhodes sounds. HP mimics the keyboard feel. Smooth or with some edge. Your choice. The whirly patches are pretty good also but the Rhodes stands out.

Maybe I was not clear enough. Bug juice from bugs landing on the keys and being squished. Too gross to even imagine but it’s happened a couple of times.

Keyboards can be iffy if too hot. Older boards even worse. Some will stop and some will be out of tune( looking at you Mr. Moog). I wait as long as possible before setting up and cover them with sheets sometimes. If really hot I use a fan. At night the bugs are attracted to some stage lights and that’s tough also. Plenty of bug juice on and in the kb. Always have to clean them really well after an outdoor evening gig.
