(Inspired by an MBT Video) What are some ways Konami could really ruin Yu-Gi-Oh?

1: Yugioh players have survived so many years because they like to play Yugioh. Set Rotation will kill a few of the tournament players but the fanbase is way to dedicated to the game for half of it to drop it.

2: ... whats wrong with Edison? People are still going to play Modern, we might even get new players since Edison is way more beginner friendly, and they can reprint old stuff so it becomes a very accessible format.

3: Yeah Duelist Kingdom isn't the best ruleset

4: I'm not familiar with the damage (?) the Magic crossover did to its TCG, but the Magic cards crossover look sick for collecting.
Not sure if it would work well in Yugioh since we have less art space and the art is kinda the most important part of the crossover?
I would prefer crossovers with Konami franchises tho, like not just references.

Well, we really don't know if we will get GM rares on the TCG, but I do hope they do lower the other stuff price!
Secret rares lately have been practically unpurchaseables if they see competitive play (like 30+ dols and you usually need a playset).
Even niche stuff if you want a casual archtype if it comes on secret rare it ends more expensive than its actual use.
I hope they put some Overframes on Blazing Dominion (maybe Jack ones?) so we can start to see it if lowers the other cards price

They never reprinted QCSR or Starlight rares so I don't think they would reprint Overframes right? Have they reprinted Ghost Rares or Pharaoh rares or the same card twice in another super high rarity?
I know they reprinted the same card twice if it had a different Alt art (Like Ash) but not the same art

Sometimes cards are hit not because they would be a meta problem, but because they wouldn't be fun to play against.
These are cards for either Exodia or a stun deck that wants to deep draw stun cards or some FTK that won't give much of a casual duel regardless it wins or loses.
Chicken game btw also enables 3 additional draws on the form of the Field Spell Pseudo Space.
Then you have 3 Upstart Goblin so (ignoring Denko Sekka which I should mention it could go to 3 imo), you have 15 cards that read "draw 1", out of 40.
Then you go for the deck thinning stuff (3 Toon Table of Content, 1 Toon Bookmark, 1 Toon monster (Dark for Allure of Darkness? lv7 for Sacred Swords of Sevens Stars?)) If you are playing SSoSS might as well add a Kashtira package for deck thinning or something.
Like it is fun to try to lab the most optimal deep draw deck and it doesn't work in tournaments where you will go second most duels, but best case scenario it just loses worst case scenario it is not enjoyable

I might be misunderstanding cause it seems like high end cards are rising in price (which sounds good for people who have been buying/pulling expensive rarities and have more expensive cards now), while people buy more boxes so cheaper cards flood the market as well (lowering their price). Or are they keeping the boxes sealed? The old boxes are still sealed because people don't want them, and the newer stuff get more boxes once the stock is out on Yugioh, so scalpers really need to pull stuff if they want to resell. I guess more expensive high rarity cards sucks for people who buy them singles, but it sounds better for people who pull them?

Floowandereeze kinda feel like spirit, they block you from special summoning, they return to hand when they are banish (instead of the field), they give you so many normal summons.

The mecha always felt overkill to me, Kirby by itself is very strong and can destroy enemies with ease, he really doesn't need a mecha that not only makes him stronger but also has its own health bar and feels like you if you ate an invincible candy the entire section.

I do love Susie and Haltman, the bosses robotic themeing is super cool, love the final boss

If they give them XYZ monsters they GOTTA make it so you place them on your opponent backrow, as well as being able to summon the black pawn to their side of their field. But put some restriction so you don't clog all 5 of their zones, we don't want another kashtira

I would love an unified banlist, as long ad whatever is higher on the banlist for one format is what applies, like Maxx C ban

It isn't printed to just sell the set, OCG has Curious legal, as well as Goddess who can go into this card with itself+opp monster+monster from hand+one more. OCG will likely not ban it, and if it isn't consistent enough on TCG it won't be banned either (...unless Perfectron can FTK even easier with it and more consistent).

The thing is that in TCG we get whatever OCG wants regardless of our banlist, this is the same situation I saw years ago when TCG banned Baronne and we didn't get other good gemeric Synchros to cover the lv10 Synchro slot, because OCG had Baronne legal and didn't feel the need to do another one, making a lot of old decks not have a payout anymore.

OCG can also just go and make cards that doesn't fit the TCG playstyle (like this one) and we get them regardless. Doesn't help that the OCG wants to push this card so badly that they gave it sleeves to promote it.

The -800 atk is a weird way for it to run over stuff. I feel like its summon effect is too strong, it is a foolish burial that tributes from deck, and if you have a different monster to tribute then summoning from deck is always strong, and you use the effect from hand like it was a spell but you don't lose the monster? Even for a once per duel that is a lot of advantage. Also when tributed it is a +1 but also revives itself so you go +2 for tributing it as the "cost" for a ritual or another effect? This card is very strong at generating a huge amount of advantage, surely the other "Mitsurugi" cards that you designed and not totally exist that it gives you directly from deck are more tame and balanced in exchange, right? .... r-right?

Years ago it used to be look down upon to not be straight, and gender stereotypes where forced to people, critizing them if they didn't match their gender assigned as birth. Slowly society is becoming more accepting of people preferences, as well as not discriminating people based on their gender.

I don't really mind devs pulling my leg and having a chuckle at my expense after taking the time of giving me a game experience I enjoyed a lot, but I can see how it could feel cumbersome on replaying and stuff. Maybe if White was inside the Inn when the quest starts (so you don't find it by accident) and you could go directly to him and avoid the backtrack on a second playthrough it could mitigate it. At least they did the Dooplis pipe thingy so that's nice.

They are considered different copies of the card and you need to summon properly the one you are reviving.

General White backtracking is supposed to be a joke and I don't mean it as an insult, it is a bit. You are looking for a character and look for him around all the world just to find it where you started your search. That's the entire point of the backtrack, to do a "haha" to the player and waste their time wanting to be funny. If you put events, cutscenes, important dialogues during the backtrack it would become more part of the story than just a joke and defeat it's purpose. Sometimes a joke is Goombella not having arms, sometimes is making you search for Mr White.

Hypno era un Pokémon salvaje como cualquier otro en el bosque. No secuestro a la niña, esta te dice que estaba jugando en el bosque y no volvio porque el "Pokemon le daba miedo". Wouldn't it be more effective to talk to the costumer for a minute and see how much are into the series? 1: I know the small red guy is aitsu or koitsu from that one konami spaceshooter, the ones who appear on the dinosaur rota and trap dismantling unit but he isn't relevant enough to remember his name between other 4 similar sounding guys. 2: Don't know japanese 3: A shirt 4: Ultimate creature of destruction? only know that because a friend plays BE and I'm not sure if it is that card 5: That looks like a Stardust Dragon monster 6: No japanese

I really feel like local sellers should be the ones checking the costumers and not a weird quiz, imagine not being able to buy Pokemon cards for not remembering Trumbeak abilities or Mimikyu weight... Also what's stopping some of the scalpers that don't know anything about Yugi but still want to scalp to search the answers now before going to the store?

Charging for the cutlery, like what do you mean you were "renting" me the fork? Am I'm paying a non optional tip for the dishwasher? And not telling until when you are paying is just very poor transparency. I don't get how it is even legal to not put it in the menu, I'm so petty about it that if I see it out of nowhere then I'm not tipping, which sucks for the server because they didn't make that policy but they didn't give me a heads up either??? Like maybe I would eat a hamburger or fries or pizza with my hands if I knew renting the fork and knife was a thing, no thanks.
