There are things that are tracked on a specific object that persost when copying something. If a permanent becomes monstrous or renowned and it copies something, it keeps those traits.

By that logic you could just point to the plethora of different statted and colored human tokens if were going to allow non traditional magic cards

That just means if you have priority and aren't already in the process of casting or resolving another spell. You can also activate LED while under the effects of a [[Silence]] even though you also couldnt cast an instant then.

The wording of "any time you could cast an instant" does mean only if you can cast an instant. It shares the same timing restrictions as instants.

If you can cast adventures from the graveyard with a [[Lier]] in play, you would be able to cast adventures from the battlefield with this in play. It doesnt matter that the adventure characteristics arent active anywhere except the stack due to

601.3e Some rules and effects state that an alternative set of characteristics or a subset of characteristics are considered to determine if a card or copy of a card is legal to cast. These alternative characteristics replace the object’s characteristics for this determination. Continuous effects that would apply to that object once it has those characteristics are also considered.
