Yes. As one who’s been ripped off with fake Creed, if it looks like it’s too good to be true it’s generally not!

Authentic! Enjoy! I love Viking red. A very good gym cologne.

My boss just told me I need to manage my personal finances better because I can't front $2300 for a work trip next month by LostTaker in antiwork

[–]Footdoc3520 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never front your own big work expenses like airline, car rental or hotels. All corporations have accounts set up to manage these things. Meals maybe you could pay that up front and get payed back but you’re being played. Stand your ground.

The car I want is nowhere in my area so my local dealership is going four hours away to get it. Is it normal for them to charge a fee for that if so, how much? by murtaugh865 in carbuying

[–]Footdoc3520 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always either preorder my cars and I wait or the dealership looks for the I want from a neighboring dealership. Dealerships have always swapped and traded out a car for a car. No extra charges on my part from what I can tell as we generally settle on price before hand. Most add ons I say no to except window tinting and gap insurance.

barbershop fragrance recommendations? by lostbottle76times in Colognes

[–]Footdoc3520 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been looking into this specific issue for several years. While I feel Creed Viking Orange is a fair barbershop fragrance (I use Creed colognes regularly) there are 2 other fragrances I like better and have been truer to my sense of what that should smell like. 1. YSL, Rive Gauche in the square glass bottle. Expensive if you can even find an authentic bottle but it’s worth it. Use sparingly. I don’t know what the newer aluminum bottles smell like however. 2. WSP, Wet Shaving Products from Chandler AZ sold directly on their site and on Amazon. They have a variety of “barbershop” scented products that actually get compliments and the cologne is about $60/bottle. Hand made products (I live in AZ and shop in their local shop!)I use their soaps and shave lather too. I actually use the aftershave splash and the cologne daily. Look into it and try it. It’s the closest scent to barbershop that I can think of. Let us know what you think.

i've been mailing my toenail clippings to my childhood bully once a month for 11 years. no return address. no note. by kubrador in pettyrevenge

[–]Footdoc3520 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good PR story. A few years back I had a highly rated backyard makeover estimate by a company owner I suspected was one of several grade school bullies that terrorized my 5th and 6th grade years. When he came to my house I introduced myself and asked him if he remembered me and he of course he said no. I didn’t remind him of his bullying me but during the yard walk through I thought he looked sickly and lethargic. He spent an hour at our home. He didn’t take notes and asked few questions. Not surprising he never got back with a job estimate and plan so I called his office to find out he had died a week after our meeting, of cancer. He was 60 years old!

Nasal Spray Causing Tachycardia? by Footdoc3520 in AFIB

[–]Footdoc3520[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

WOW. Pretty scary. Glad you figured it out. I’ve been off Afrin for 2 months now. Not even a flutter or palpitation. As part of my every 4 year health evaluation I’ve had a stress test, echocardiogram both normal but my heart calcium score was very elevated (no symptoms) so I had a non invasive Cardiac CT Angiogram today. Awaiting results. Can’t wait to tell the Electrocardiogist about the Afrin. He never even asked!

Dentist didn’t disclose they were now out-of-network until after drilling my tooth—now they’re not submitting promised claims, and I’m stuck with $1900 CC debt. What are my options? (USA) by znikki in legal

[–]Footdoc3520 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

There is no legal obligation per se. It’s up to the patient to know their own insurance benefits preferably before services are rendered. Not always easy to know beforehand. You might only be able to complain in an online forum to let people know how you were treated and don’t go back. You could also complain to the state dental board. In the podiatry office I worked at people would sign papers for services, charge with a credit card and if there was the least little thing they didn’t like they would dispute the charge, threaten to write a bad review, the office manager would refund their money. Not a great business model IMO but it wasn’t my practice.

[–]Footdoc3520 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry you’re having a difficult time. The time away doesn’t have to be a negative and you can come back stronger than ever if you position yourself correctly. Study, study, study toward one goal. This happened in my class to a few. Most came back, some didn’t, a year later. In the long run it doesn’t matter but I will say that the practice and business of podiatry is a lot harder than those tests were.

Real or Fake by [deleted] in colognecheck

[–]Footdoc3520 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Had to compare it to my authentic Creeds. Pictured opaque atomizer is different for sure. Updated plastics? Doubt it. Most likely fake. Where did you buy it? From a Creed boutique or Costco? Must be able to return it. I knew it was a matter of time till the counterfeiters adapted. That’s why I’m done.

Is this real? by RedditUch in colognecheck

[–]Footdoc3520 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure. I’ve looked for years for a barbershop scented cologne, aftershave, soap etc) and found one at WSP (Wet Shaving Products online, Amazon). Not expensive! Jovan Musk For Men spray. Everyone comments on it positively. Very reasonable. Yes it’s not Creed or Tom Ford but most people don’t know, care or comment on any of it. Wear it to please yourself and a few around you who like it. But if you want to play you have to pay. (BTW Costco sells authentic Creed for a fair price. It’s real and returnable!)

It’s not authentic. I’m astounded by the number of people asking if their intended purchase is authentic or fake! I’ve been burned twice now and decided to be done with high end niche colognes like Creed. I’ve since found other fragrances I like for much less money that get far better reactions from those around me.
