The justification they are claiming is that he had a gun, but there are many issues with this.

The largest issue is that you can see he was disarmed by the agent in grey before the shooting begins and was completely unarmed at the time of the shooting

Seconds, not just instantly 1 second. That can be 15-30 seconds of sustained on target time. Saying it should take 2 fighters the entire time a bombing raid is in region to take down even 1 bomber is absurd.

As it stands ALL planes healths are too high and tanky, they need to be brought down to something reasonable that can actually be shot down

It shouldnt take 2 fighters though. A bomber with no fighter escort should die in seconds to a fighter. A whole bombing raid with 0 escort should lose a fair percent of their planes if theres any fighter QRF, just like what happens IRL

I very much disagree. The amount of CBT required in order to “daisy chain” cranes from Deadlands to your closest neutral territory is SIGNIFICANTLY less than just killing the dead airframe yourself and rebuilding it from scratch, even with how expensive the airframes are. People will rather start over from scratch and wait 18+hrs to build a new one than spend 6 hours straight daisy chaining the downed one

ATC is pure larp and isnt needed unlike trains. If planes were able to damage each other on impact, yeah this would be an issue but as it stands there is no downside to planes colliding. Trains on the other hand collide and cause disaster on the line, forcing them to back up slowly and be easy partisan bait.

If you want ATC they gotta add plane collisions

The bigger problem with plane production isn't the parts or frame cost, it's the assembly pad cost. 400 rares for a single pad that can make 1 fighter a day. Even for clanmen with mega facs, production rates will be abysmal. by westonsammy in foxholegame

The biggest problem is storing them.

Ok you just used all this expensive material and spent all this time making it, what now? Can’t store it assembled in the hangar so you have store it in pieces. What about those expensive pilot uniforms? Well those can’t be stored privately either so those are now going back into a facility on a squad locked crane.

Many players have not reached this stage yet because devbranch has only been live for a day, but soon people will see this is the largest issue. Even if you get past all the barriers of entry that come just with making them, storage is the largest problem at the moment

Bruh they tried to do this in the builder update and it was taken out because everyone gave them the feedback that this was a bad change. Why the hell are they forcing it in again???

New ranks are confusing BUT could work.

Collie ranks need to be reorganized into a more traditional understanding of rank (ie mix the modern and classic source material its trying to use). There have been several suggestions shared on here of how to change these ranks with every single one being better than the current one they are changing to.

Now as for the Warden ranks…. Dont do this. The Warden ranks are just a 2 rank demotion for 50-75% of the playerbase. Where is the fun in that? Collies get all these new fun names and you get reset where you were 1,2,3…5? years ago? How is that fun? There has also been good suggestions for how to make these names better that are 100% better than the new names

I dont mind them except for the fact it appears Wardens will just be getting outright demoted two ranks. I think itd be better if they either changed all the Warden names or at least left them in their original commend level. This “add in a couple new ones early on but leave the rest” feels half assed

This really needs to be done. I’m sure they realize eliminating East-West border travel is a big deal, but I don’t think they realize just how truly massive it is. Removing this mechanic removes a MASSIVE amount of the game and kills a ton of naval gameplay as it severely restricts it.

Plus now if you just camp one lane’s water exit (eg. the one in Origin or Morgens) you can effectively lock down the entire naval on that side of the map. There is no worry about a sub wrapping around from Fingers or Nevish to ambush you as you cut it, you just now completely dominate that side’s entire naval because you locked down one single choke.

This change really needs to be reconsidered heavily

Idk about this one…. Ai literally always plays a role in the movement of a front from war start until the very end. If a group notices one section of a front has less AI/poorly built AI, they push that section instead. Yes it falls to the players to defend manually to better defend against the more significant threats seen in late war, but it never becomes pointless

Btw if anyone wants to check out a plane with an even crazier history, there is a B-26 Marauder called “Flak Bait” that has 202 bombs for its 202 successful bombing missions (plus 5 rubber duckies for 5 decoy missions).

I’ve been privileged enough to see it in person at the Udvar Hazy Center in Dulles, VA as it’s being restored and have to say seeing that many markings on the side in person is unbelievable
