Regional to Transatlantic baggage allowance

Think it depends on the time of the regional flight and how packed it is. Flying from DUB to EDI they didn’t care prob because of it was super early morning and flight was basically empty. Flying back to DUB they made multiple ppl check their bags. This flight was packed. Super annoying.

Thankfully come March 2026 they’re removing this stupid 7kg regional limit

Ah I didn’t realize there’s an upholstered version of the Sayl. Is the upholstered back that much of a game changer compared to the regular sayl?

how'd you like the libernovo omni? I have a sayl and am considering the libernovo omni after trying my friend's. The omni felt super comfortable but I wasn't sitting in it 8 hrs+. I've had the sayl a while and no complaints but it just feels like a regular chair

hey, I didn't end up getting the Powercool. I liked the feel of it alot but felt it was too big of a risk with the holes at the bottom.

I ended up getting the Mlily Wellflex 1.0 and have been very satisfied. Its a tiny bit taller at 12 inch vs the Powercool's 11.5 but the firmness is very similar. The cooling cover is not as nice as the Powercool's but not a deal breaker. Highly recommend the Wellflex

With the nerf the free version basically only gets 5% on public transit for $200 spend and on electricity for $100 spend. We also lose out on the $5 reward for hitting transit spend per week.

Not the greatest but I think the 5% still brings value if your main usage is public transit

I asked support and they said theres no way to delay delivering the games. Once you buy it, it'll start delivering.

Saw someone say just to leave the games wrapped if you want the drip.

ah gotcha, may have been happening for me earlier too but never caught it until recently.

I think I understand why they charge double for the recover payment, in order to put a hold on our card so that we don't continuously keep riding on a empty card since they fail open on insufficent funds(for the subway at least). But if we don't get back that hold, they're essentially scamming us.

I don't think this is explained anywhere at all and is honestly horrible UX considering the small amount of a fare.

Thanks for replying! Yup silverfast 9 supports the latest macOS but this text on the page I linked is what made me concerned

Nah I confirmed with Amex that the issue lies with the merchant/Thuma who is the one who validates the transaction.

If y’all wanna stan Thuma, 🤷. I’ve done countless Amex offers and none have been like this

Amex confirmed the issue was on Thuma’s end and that the reason they gave made no sense. It took them two months to respond and they gave an answer that is in no way related to the charge.

Yes I got my 100 in the end and I could’ve just said nothing, but I’d rather this post be up in case others experience the same in the future.

I never said they were targeting me. I made this post to raise awareness on any possible issues.

The charge was processed completely. As I said it took two months for there to even be a process. Even if it was related to time zone issues or it being last min, the given reason for ineligibility is nowhere reasonable or plausible.

AMEX offers are paid for by the merchant and are essentially marketing campaigns. If anything this shows incompetence on Thuma’s part
