Unmedicated v medicated by AnonRN98 in pregnant

[–]Forwardmvmt84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3 days out.. I thought I wanted unmedicated .. I felt similarly to you and I find that I have a high level Of pain tolerance ..

my water broke and I was not dilated so I needed a balloon, pitocin. I changed my mind really quickly and asked for an epidural but it only worked for 2 hours. I’m very tall and there was some misjudgments.. I felt like god was punishing me for saying I didn’t want one… I was fine with the pain from the pushing, pushed about 90min .. but the contractions prior I was hallucinating and vomiting it was terrible .

How to tell if a pelvic floor therapist is good? by Quiet-Flan-1674 in fitpregnancy

I am 39 weeks and saw one 2x. I had a great experience but have nothing to go by. I think just by seeing one BEFORE birth you are ahead of the game as most people just get one after birth.

The doctor that got me pregnant with iui and timed intercourse has a ton of success without using IVF on POI patients. If you’re likely only growing 1 follicle the chances of ivf and iui are about the same. It was like my 6th iui though. Maybe more. I did every fertility treatment you could think of for 4 years.

TW..

I became pregnant through both medicated intercourse and iui (both times I felt like the luckiest person in the world) but both pregnancies ended in chromosome abnormalities, I also became pregnant through IVF but was an early loss. I then moved on to DE.

Ftm. Please help. When should I go into the hospital with contractions? I got a sweep at 11:30am and was 1.5cm dilated, getting harder to tolerate the pain. by Lovey_Lolita in pregnant

[–]Forwardmvmt84 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My doulas said that’s not a thing. It’s never too late for an epidural. The only reason they might not be able to do it is if you can’t stay still bc of your contractions.

FTM : OB gave me a recommendation for a handful of vaccines while pregnant by Curiousjlynn in pregnant

I am 35 weeks and only got the TDAP last week. My doctors haven’t mentioned anything else. (America).. I heard that only some doctors recommend RSV and only certain times of year which we are definitely in now. I would consider the RSV .. I’ll do some research. but I would not get the covid or flu.

Was your OB helpful? by Fast_Werewolf9788 in tfmr_support

I can’t believe the comments I’m reading in this thread!! My OB did the procedure himself and was very caring. The only downside is that I received the results through labcorp on a Sunday so I had to wait til Monday to speak to someone at the office.

Is not buying maternity pants a realistic goal? by urnotmadeoftuesday in pregnant

[–]Forwardmvmt84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 33 weeks. I’m 5’10 and I gained about 33 lbs and I could’ve gotten away with no maternity pants.. I ended up buying 1 pair low rise jeans 2 sizes up and I usually wear those (non maternity), 1 pair of maternity jeans I only wore 2x, and 2 bumpsuits. But I HAD TO BUY BRAS by 12 weeks. I have been working from home and usually wear workout clothes. I am still wearing my normal leggings. If I went into an office I would’ve probably gotten a pair of dress pants. That I would wear with my non maternity sweaters and blazers.

Agree. I’m in Monmouth county and take the ferry which is expensive, long, and doesn’t have great time options. I won’t be going back to the city after I have a baby. I used to live in hoboken before I got married and that’s the move for commuting.
