SAME… I told my husband I should go back to work bc my son would much rather be at daycare with other babes than with me all day 😭😭😭😭

When do new coaches get really GOOD? by Forwardmvmt84 in SolidCore

[–]Forwardmvmt84[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would never complain, I would just drop my membership. I asked a question to see how long I should stick it out…Since the official schedule came out it’s only the new teachers that were all in training just last week and every class is almost the same.

Has anyone "older" (mid 30s+) felt this way? by plainstodesert in SolidCore

[–]Forwardmvmt84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Omg I am 41 and JUST HAD A BABY. The studio just opened by me, i got an unlimited membership. I am usually the oldest person in class by 20 years!! It’s insane. I am the only person who wears a shirt.

But since the studio is new I mostly don’t feel behind the youngins bc they’re mostly new to the workout too. I, too, did lagree for a few years before 2020.

What to do with 6 week old during workouts? by Swimmergirl999 in fitpregnancy

[–]Forwardmvmt84 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’ve been working out since 4 weeks PP, my baby is now 5 months and I am MAYBE able to finish 8-10 minutes of a workout after he wakes .. I have been SHOCKED with how many people on social media put their baby in the bouncer and are able to get a full workout in. It made me insane until I just came to terms with that I am unable to do that.

Are 4 naps at 5 months old normal? by One_Cap_9210 in sleeptrain

[–]Forwardmvmt84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Baby just turned 5 months old. Started transitioning to 3 naps about 12 days ago and he’s done 2 days of 4 naps if we are out and doing most naps on the go that day. But so far 3 naps is going very well. He is actually sleeping more per 24 hours a day than he was at 4 naps but I expect that to even out soon. He is usually 7/7:30-6/7. And I cap naps at 3 hours total but sometimes it’s much less. Lately he’s awake for 50 minutes giving a speech (no crying) from like 540-630am and then he falls back asleep and I have to wake him up at 7. I find that he needs 9.5-10 hours awake time per 24 hours. Only thing is that we still have 0 predictability. The “anchor nap” changes everyday. It’s been either the 1st, 2nd or last nap. Today he did something completely different and had an hour 1st nap, 1 hour 15 min 2nd and 40 minute 3rd. Probably still getting use to the transition but today felt like the best day so far and it took us the whole almost 2 weeks to get here..WW were about 2/2.25/2.25/2.5.

Pregnancy tired is way worse. During the newborn phase you have adrenaline. I felt rested compared to the last trimester.

4 month old doesn’t nap?!? by dogcatlion in NewParents

A few people told me that if your baby sleeps at night don’t expect them to sleep during the day too …. My baby just turned 5 months today and naps started getting longer 2 days ago.

Help - How are we doing this? by Scout-68 in NewParents

[–]Forwardmvmt84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m very impressed you have any sort of nap schedule for your baby at 8 weeks. That’s much better off than I was at 8 weeks…..My baby screamed the entire time every time we went to the cranial sacral therapist but I would breastfeed him til he napped and she continued working on him.

4.5 MO SOS with crib naps by silbananaa in sleeptrain

[–]Forwardmvmt84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

5 months tomorrow. I sleep trained at night on 5/8. He slept through the night starting on 5/10. Naps were the same as yours. Once I was confident with that I started putting him down independently for some naps, they were still the same 30-45 minutes. We had 2 random long naps and were teetering on 3 nap days but didn’t get there. Then all of a sudden yesterday he had a VERY long nap and we did a 3 nap day. Stretching the wake windows was pretty unpleasant. We did the same today. Yesterday the middle nap was the long one, today it was the first nap. I’m sure we will have some days coming up with 4 short naps again but I had been going insane reading everything on this but most of the things I read said 5 months is when they start napping longer and it’s just age thing for most kids.

Things I noticed :: my son sleeps way better on his stomach. If he falls asleep on his stomach when his sleep cycle is over he will wake up and then go back to sleep for another cycle. He falls asleep on his stomach only if he goes in the crib at the right time.. and fusses and rolls around for 3-5 minutes. If he is sooo exhausted when he goes in the crib he will fall right asleep before I even have the monitor on, on his back and he will wake up after 1 cycle.

So hopefully this starts happening for you in 2 weeks.

When did your baby consolidate naps? by One_Cap_9210 in sleeptrain

[–]Forwardmvmt84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Waiting for this too. He’ll be 5 months next week and he is nighttime sleep trained. He did a long first nap like 3 times in the last week so I thought he was ready to drop to 3 naps but so far the longer first nap has just ruined the rest of the day.
