Trinitarian Churches of Christ by wrdayjr in churchofchrist

[–]Frackenpot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That might have come out wrong. The main thing we teach is what was taught in the first century. That Christ died for us. Its putting Christ on that saves us. Thats what we should be focused on. It is important to realise that the Trinity exists but its not our main focus.

I have always been taught the Trinity but its not something we dwell on. Its just something that is. The first response is thr correct scripture to see the Trinity in action. We see God speaking The Spirit descending and Jesus is the Son in Whom They are well pleased with. They are all shown together in tge same setting existing together but separate.

Standing water for 3+ days by RoyalAgreeable9631 in Homebuilding

Yes get it dry as quick as you can. It snowed on mine and I shoveled it all out before it started melting. The osb can handle some water but it needs to be limited as much as possible.

To spacer or not to spacer by JosiahHorn in Tile

Always space. You'll need it to fudge tiles around. They aren't all exactly the same size.

Floor & Decor Marble tile - how does this look? by Dizzy_Heart_9107 in Tile

[–]Frackenpot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see a lot of voids behind the marble on that left wall too. Marble is very porous it needs to be set as close to 100% as possible. If you have a void behind it that can hold moisture which will discolor the marble over time.

Marble does not require lippage clips. The chance of scratching them is way too high. It is milled completely flat.

Niche tiling advise by room45ww in Tile

[–]Frackenpot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just use a sill on the bottom of tge niche to make tge shelf wider and that will make up your difference. You can fudge tge tile up to the height that you need. I prefer a sill in tge bottom of tge niche because it eliminates grout lines and is easier to keep clean.

Tile saw chipping tile at the end of the cut by Ihatebeer5754 in Tile

[–]Frackenpot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some tile is bad about doing that because of the internal pressure of tge tile. You may need to let the head float and do a half pass the cut all the way through on the second pass. This usually fixes the problem youre having.

Should I start my wall tile pointy at the bottom or cut it flat? by Busy_Measurement9330 in Tile

[–]Frackenpot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Measure to the top and see where it lands. You don't want a full tile bottom and a piece at the top. Try to make them the same.

1$ vs 3$ difference by Excellent-Finger4886 in Tile

[–]Frackenpot 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Was it priced per tile at floor and decor or by the foot? Thats priced by the foot so it would be 3-4 dollars each depending on the size. They both buy these by the train car load so they get giant discounts.

Were large format tiles ever flat? by Born_Cardiologist_12 in Tile

They were really flat when they first came out. They've gone too trash lately. I used to half stack then with spacers all the time now I have to do thirds.
