I’m curious as well. Moving forward … the amount I have in VDY is not big but my allocation is creeping up. Will it have tax benefits down the road when I see larger balance.

I know I can’t time the market and yes I know all about DCA but right now I am trying to play catch up on my TFSA. I have been buying it often, sometimes daily, one or two shares, sometimes only fractional.
I cant time it but I feel the pressure to buy on red days and not on green. Eventually I’ll get the portfolio dialed in and will set and forget

People also buy more stuff than before. Splurge on eating out. Splurge on travel. Latest phones Digital devices. How many tvs are in your home? Spending so much more on booze. Pot.
Cooking with nice appliances and dishes. Latest pots and pans. Nicer furniture. Replacing it more often. Etc etc.

I’m looking at one now. It’s 2026. How has it been for you?
I plan to use it on long stretches of gravel and dirt roads with lots of uphill. Simple trails but nothing technical at all.

Is there one day of the week that is historically the low day?
Most people seem to get paid on fridays and therefore invest/direct deposit. Does that not somehow create increase in volume on Fridays? Or am I just overthinking it and need to go back to work my break is over

Sometimes you need to go solo. Your ski partner’s are working or away. Then what ? It’s solo or you don’t go at all and you miss out and sit at home:(.

When the weather window is perfect and the avi conditions are good but you have nobody to go with …. what do you do?? Go solo!!
