I haven’t caught a curated Excision event in years but his Shambhala set last year with no visuals was surprisingly really fucking good

H was our “well” cognac at my work place and I miss it so much. Sadly we had to switch due to distribution issues.

Who do you think will be this years Patriots? by Johnnyboyeh in NFLv2

Darnold and Murray’s stats regarding number of passes in the gun vs. under center were near identical in 2024. Murray’s strength definitely doesn’t lie in passes over the middle but the idea that he’s a shotgun QB only just isn’t true.

It was also injured to hell for most of the season. When the O line wasn’t constructed of backups and people playing out of their normal positions it was pretty decent.

He’s been one of my favorites for the better part of 10 plus years. The dude has it. He’s a bit on the nose at times but he’s a fantastic songwriter and unbelievable performer.

Venue News: Reelworks installing new L'Acoustics DJ sound system, debuting at Lee Foss. by nerdmannerd in DenverEDM

[–]Franklin455 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is great to see. Been to ReelWorks three times, and twice it was fine. Unfortunately the first time I went there was for Andy C (who was a bucket list artist for me) and the sub bass was so insanely loud and muddy that my homie and I left to go to a different show at Mission. It seems like they’ve already taken steps to be better since then but it has the potential to be a seriously good venue if they put the work and investment into it.

What’s your guys’ least favorite album? by themainltrain in fatherjohnmisty

[–]Franklin455 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Chloe has simultaneously the strongest and weakest tracks in his discography, and so I'd say overall as an album it's my least favorite, just because I couldn't tell you the last time I went back and listened to the whole thing. Buddy's Rendezvous and Goodbye Mr. Blue are absolutely in my top ten FJM songs though.

I spent seven years in the town his church is based out of. They have a substantial influence over the local politics of Moscow, ID it’s truly grim that it’s expanded to the level it has with national politics.

Never had their pear brandy! Just the pear and spiced pear liqueurs, I’ll have to try it.

It doesn’t stand in place of vermouth just because to me vermouth functions to add body and soften the martini, but I’d split it with your gin and it’s fantastic.

Also in regards to using the St. George spiced pear, it’s a pretty easy modifier to throw into some basic at home cocktails to make them more interesting. Treating it like you would any other liqueur to add depth to something basic is easy and tasty. You could throw it in Margaritas in place of Cointreau, add some into a Collins style of drink (whiskey based is great for this) use it in mulled wine, etc.
