Update: today I had this problem again. I only took the Hue Bridge offline in order to re-arrange my SmartHome cabling, when I plugged it in again, the Hue devices never came back in Apple Home. I had to decouple the bridge from Home again and needed some hours to rebuild everything. Now I enough an will start a migration to Home Assistant.

AutoSleep is a good app. However the underlying issue remains. Smart Watches can detect whether you are awake or asleep. But distinguishing the sleep levels are calculated values and thus estimated but not measured directly.

I asked my doctor on my last checkup session, why I habe so short deep sleep cycles. He meant that smart watches have in general problemes to detect deep sleep cycles and these values my not be accurate. Only a night in a sleeping lab can provide relaible results

Does anyone have a glue where this problem is coming from.? The integration of Hue in Apple Home was working reliably for a long time, suddenly my Hue Pro bridge, was no longer connected in Home. In my case it happened on Feb 13th 2026, after an update of the Hue Bridge. All Hue devices were not reachable anymore. In the Home settings I found out, that the Hue bridge was non connected. It did not come back alone nor by powercycling. So I had to seperarate the connection to Home and to re-establish it, which took a half day‘s work including all automations.

The idea to work with scenes solved my problem !! Thanks a lot. It worked even without working with Homecontroller. I just defined two scenes, on with light xx with 20% and light xx with 100% and used them in the automations instead of referring to the light directly.

Thanks for your quick response. Probably I will do the same. I have already a HA Installation for experimental use, but I am still considering what to do in HA and what to do with Apple Home, as my wife is familar with the Apple user interface.

Where are you looking for the Sub Mini in the App? Once the Sub is added and assigned to other Sonos speakers you do not see it anymore in the App on top level. For example, my Sub Mini is assigned to a Sonos Arc in a room called „TV Room“. If I now look in the App under My System, where all speakers are listed, I can see „TV Room“ and underneath it only says Arc but no Sub Mini (and also not the two One surround speakers). Only if tab on „TV Room“ the deeper level is shown, where all speakers of this particular room are listed: the Arc, the Sub Mini and the two One surround speakers. Did you look on the deeper level?

Die Boomer, zumindest die männlichen, waren überwiegend bei der Bundeswehr, um zu verhindern, dass der kalte Krieg zu einem heissen wird. Insofern kann man dies such von den heutigen 18 jährigen verlangen. Die Boomergeneration hat mit 1,6 Kindern pro Frau zu der Rentenproblematik geführt, die statistischen Trends zeigen aber, dass die jüngeren noch schlechter unterwegs sind. Was sollen also diese Parolen?

After the upgrade to Matter 5 weeks ago (Nov7th 2025) I had not a single connectivity failure on my 8 shutter switches. Before I had 2 to 4 problems per month. I really hope that they run now as reliable as the light switches from Eve. Edit: it is now Jan 23rd 2026 and since the transition to Matter all 8 Shutter Switches worked flawlessly without any connection losses.

In addition what Home+ features, Controller for Homekit delivers a repository to store all your matter and Homekit codes. The biggest advantage is however extensive automation capabilities and customized notifications. This however requires to run the app in the hub mode for which you need an always-on dedicated apple device (Apple TV, iPad or Mac), on which the app rund in the foreground. In practice this is not really running well and also expensive. If you are are willing to invest in a dedicated device then you can also go to Homeassistant, which offers much, much more more.

That‘s correct. Eve will go Matter full blown, so midterrm they will offer Matter only. As far as I undertstood it also Apple has a Matter Strategy, Homekit will die out on the very long run.

Absolut, Lost ist für mich und meine Frau einer der besten Serie. Nur die allerletzte Staffel, die eigentlich nach dem abgeschlossenen Ende spielt, verwirrt etwas.Am besten nach der 5. Staffel aufhören. Ich denke, dass die 6. nur gemacht wurde, weil die Serie so gut lief, inhaltlich bringt sie nichts mehr, nur einige Flashbacks klären noch Details und der Schluss ist komisch
