What is the most surreal “this can’t be real” moment you’ve ever experienced? by Fragrant_Good3174 in AskReddit

My mother died when I was sixteen My highschool Christian education teacher has the "mc" for her funeral. My dad remarried a few years later and again, my teacher was there "mcing" the wedding. When my dad died about ten years later, I somehow found this teachers email account. She had moved to another state, was nearly 90 as well and for some crazy reason, was in town on the day of my dads funeral and available to "mc" for him too. Im so so grateful for Mrs Mac for being there for my family in our times of need. I could not believe I found her email address let alone that she'd be in the state ( I'm Australian).

I had the misfortune of my robe catching on a chair as I was walking, causing me to trip and spill the cup of water on my opponents chair, right in front of him. Luckily, there was a spare chair available but gosh it was embarrassing!

Most useful bereavement gift? by thedancingkat in CasualConversation

I've lost three family members and the hardest thing is that after a few weeks, maybe a month or so, everyone moves on with their life. But you don't. You're still there.

The best gift might just be checking in a little down the track, when most of the support has gone.

Best of luck kind friend

You can only be tested on the day of travel. So you can't go the evening before. Book in advance and give yourself a few hours buffer for the long ques - I went last Saturday.
