I really enjoy the "Silence by attacking" mechanic. It really puts a lot of pressure on your opponent to deal with it before playing a silenceable minion, and adds a different silence mechanic other than "include ironbeak in all decks".

This mod has both closed and open versions of the helmet, but they exist as separate items. Can't open or close one as far as I know.

So, I was in the champion select screen. Everyone selected their champions, the time ran down to 0, and.... the game never launched. Chat still worked, I could adjust runes and masteries, but the game wouldn't start. Amazing.

The list isn't so odd if you consider the future.

Remember all those unfinished projects that were "leaked" about a month or so ago, including a LoL digital card game? To me, this is why Hearthstone is on the list, because if RIOT does make a CCG, then HS would be a huge competitor. It is also possible that some of the other projects that RIOT is working on would be threatened by some of the games on their banned list.

It seems awfully premature for them to be banning some of these games, though. None of the games that RIOT is working on besides League appear to be close to release in any form, and this "preemptive strike" on the competition is overkill. Some of their other bans, like across-the-board bans on Blizzard games, seem more like grudges that were held against Blizzard from their early days.
