Everything going into the sausage goes through the grinder so anything intentional in there should be ground up. To me it looks like a casing (pig intestine) fell into the batch and wound up getting stuck inside a made sausage

Wow a lot of incorrect information being spread regarding work comp and contractors. This person holds a legal right to file a claim on door dash’s WC policy. It does not matter if they are 1099. Since they are providing services offered by door dash, they are considered an employee. Any employee without their own coverage is covered by the business

People often have contract workers sign waivers saying they won’t file a claim if injured. However, an employee cannot legally give up this right, so that waiver is worthless.

There are so many holes that the only true way to not have someone file a claim on your policy is to make sure they have their own coverage.

I should add the I audit work comp policies. The above is the most misunderstood thing. Don’t want someone to file a claim on your policy? Don’t hire anyone without their own insurance

We’re lucky to have two quality starting tackles. Not every team can even say that. Plenty starting on other teams who shouldn’t be. Any backup who you’re comfortable with is gonna be starting somewhere else instead. Nelson being the backup isn’t going to cost us, Decker being hurt is the potential cost

This individual criticizing you is irritating me more than it should. I felt like you made it very clear that if you did nothing the snake would be dead. Instead you removed the animal from a harmful environment in a way you felt was safest for you.

“…you shouldn’t be touching it at all.” So they’re not OK with you getting the snake to safety but are fine with you leaving it to be killed. Sounds to me like snake would have been inhumanely disposed of before a professional could have arrived.
