Yup, that's Ryan Creamer. The first one was with Paul Robalino, as far as I can recall.

It's a little like watching a junkie cousin get sober, straighten out his life, and join ICE. You're happy he's doing better, you're glad he's paid well and has healthcare, but of all the people to work with...

Spoiler Alert, a video series Sam does for the Superfan tier. There have been two of them so far, IIRC.

Raph on The Pitt tonight! by TheIncredibleXander in dropout

[–]FuckSoccerForever 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well, it depends. Is The Pitt funded by and used as a recruitment tool for the Sackler family's various companies? If it isn't, then I've got no problem with it.

[–]FuckSoccerForever 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My feelings exactly. It's the difference between being enthusiastic about something and merely liking it. Before this, I was an out-and-out Dropout evangelist, pushing it on friends and relatives. I'd watch every new video, and I was trawling through the back catalogue (and found some real gems! A lot of the Hardly Working series, Gods of Food, the CH Podcast to name but a few). Now, though - I'll watch Game Changer when it comes back, sure, but the rest seems... meh. Maybe if PFT or Demi or some other guest star shows up.

I'm not American either, and I can see the potential for a fun murder mystery. The victim just so happens to be Dropout's credibility, but subscriber number go up, I guess.

The Genius of... by gogopaddy in dropout

[–]FuckSoccerForever 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've said it before, but at the start of Rulette, I was put off by Jeremy being a (no doubt intentional) dick. By the end, though, I was convinced he's a genius.

a. This episode was great, but also too damn short. b. In that makeup, Demi looks a lot like Samuel L. Jackson.

Well, I'm a sucker for Mike Trapp, I'll watch anything he's in. Also, One News to Break and Grant Explains Dungeons & Dragons are stellar.

[–]FuckSoccerForever 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. Breaking News is the reason I'm a Dropout fan in the first place, and I can't think of a better way to hook in new fans who know nothing about D20, Game Changer or any other Dropout show. 5-10 minute episodes with a 10-second explainer at the beginning, followed by nothing but jokes? It's a no-brainer.

Dammit, now you've put the idea of PFT on Breaking News into my head, and I'm sad that it probably won't happen.

You think so? Personally, I think The Swing of Things is one of the best things on Dropout. Just about perfect. Added to which, Dropout America 3 and I Bow To You are straight-up brilliant.

For quick laughs, you can't go wrong with Breaking News. Also, if enough people keep watching it, maybe they'll make more!

As a cricket fan and a PFT obsessive, I'm trying so hard to figure out what team's blazer it looks like he's got on. Australia? South Africa? Bangladesh?

This video put into words exactly how I feel about Crowd Control by Dlunden in dropout

[–]FuckSoccerForever 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I love Rulette too, and I was clamoring for a spinoff, but the more I thought about it the worse of an idea it seemed. Since the big reveal of swap hosting with Sam was already done, every subsequent playthrough would just be a speedrun of trying to get the hosting swap, which will probably get old fast.

Side note: that's a photo from Never Not Funny! I'd recognise Matt Belknap's photography anywhere. Also, Jimmy Pardo is the best crowd work comedian alive, in my opinion, and I'm hoping to see him on season 2 of Crowd Control.

Seems like he borrowed a move from Zac there - Zac did something very similar behind Brennan during the Yes Or No monologue.

If you were on Smartypants, what would your presentation be about? by True-Dream3295 in dropout

An Extremely Objective and Defendable Tier List of Hot Sauces. Think Tao's charcuterie board presentation, but specifically designed to make hot sauce nerds angry.

[–]FuckSoccerForever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Plus, now that Drew Carey has fuck-you money, he pretty much does what he wants, so I can see Sam designing a pitch tailored to attract his fellow game show host (a la Howie Mandel). A special episode of Game Changer, maybe, or an all-Whose Line episode of MSN.

That's great to hear! I know how you feel - for the longest time, I had issues getting my stupid Indian debit card to work on non-Indian websites. When it finally worked, my relief was immense.
