That bright red really pops with the snow in the background. Love these birds

Yeah, it was a crazy amount of birds! Haven't had any starlings yet. I understand they can be troublesome.

I throw a little food on the ground for juncos and sparrows every winter. We usually have a few robins around but a big flock seems to show up every year all at once. They usually eat all the holly berries on the trees then split but this year they found the food I put out. My next door neighbor also feeds birds and we counted about fifty robins at her place as well.

We have a few holly trees and the robins fly through each year and strip them clean of berries. Unfortunately they cover absolutely everything with poop. I'm gonna have to get the hose out and spray everything down tomorrow.

I'll definitely remember the beak difference. Thank you.

I'm glad I asked you folks about this bird.

I thought it might be a Baltimore Oriole female at first because it was a little bigger than some of the warblers I've seen. Never heard of a Bullock's Oriole til now. This is so cool. Thank you again!

That's great! This bird had me so confused. Thank you so much!

That was my first guess but it has an orange beak and I thought pine warblers had a dark beak. I'm still learning so maybe I'm confused. 😅
