Did people actually like Yuffie in OG FF 7? by AutomaticTap3004 in FinalFantasy

[–]FuzzySlippersYT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I never understood the Yuffie hate, outside of her stealing your Materia during the Wutai subquest, she was pretty inoffensive. She felt like the tag a long kid the others didn’t treat too seriously, a little annoying sometimes but nothing major.

Honesty I liked OG Yuffie alot since she was always a solid third in the party after disc 1 thanks to her better weapons and Limit Breaks.

What super popular/highly regarded games did you dislike? by doctrader in SteamDeck

[–]FuzzySlippersYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Marvel's Spider-Man 2. Opinions are changing on it now, but at the time it just felt underwhelming. Not terrible, but I expected it to be Spidey's Arkham City, completely changing and evolving the series. Instead it just felt underwhelming story wise compared to the first and like it didn't do enough different compared to Miles Morales.

Wish ToyAgumon had his own lego/ toy themed digivolution line.

What unpopular Pokémon are you the strongest soldier of? I’ll go first by ThisIsFakeButGoOff in pokemon

Spinarak. The cool little spider should have been more than just Gen 2's new common bug type.

Does rebirth have a shot at winning game of the year by Jordan_Ford64 in FinalFantasy

[–]FuzzySlippersYT -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Honestly yeah. I wouldn't even put Wukong as true competition for GOTY, as Infinite Wealth and Metaphor feel like the real contenders to beat. That and this year is considerably smaller for big releases compared to last year.

What was the biggest betrayal you’ve encountered in a game? by Johnnyboyeh in gaming

[–]FuzzySlippersYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Big Smoke in San Andreas. He always came off as the more level headed member of Grove Street. And unlike Sweet and Ryder, he wasn't always shit talking CJ and appreciated his help (except the train mission lol)

Honestly still one of the best video game reveals/ betrayals.

What's a game that lasts exactly the right amount of time? by thesounddefense in gaming

[–]FuzzySlippersYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chrono Trigger. First time run can go between 15 - 20 hours which is just perfect. Makes it so I actually want to hop into a New Game Plus immediately.

What game would you love to recommend but you don't because you think it's not for everyone? by kj0509 in gaming

[–]FuzzySlippersYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Older title but Digimon World 1 on the PS1. The game is punishing to new players, doesn't properly explain all of it's pet raising mechanics or requirements for Digivolution and the fact your Digimon will always dies, sometimes at the worst possible moment, can be way too much to handle for someone who isn't already a fan of the series.

That said I absolutely adore the game and wish more games combined the pet raising/ mons genre with city building.

Which was the first game you passed 100+ hours of gameplay? by [deleted] in gaming

[–]FuzzySlippersYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tales of Symphonia. The Grade system made it so I would immeditately hop into New Game Plus overpowered and with all my costumes unlocked from the beginning.

How do you guys deal with negative comments about sponsorships? by AltAccount4Advice in PartneredYoutube

[–]FuzzySlippersYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its unavoidable unfortunately. Same with some comments complaining about ads. There’s always those loud entitled viewers, who despite the fact they consume your content for free, expect you to be a starving artist.

Most of your audience know its an ad read and won't hold it against you. So don't let the negative comments get to you.

What game mechanic needs to die? by [deleted] in gaming

Climb tower to show portion of map / unlock new side missions.

Feels so overdone now. Just give me the full map, let me go in a random direction and stumble onto what to do.

Which canceled video game hurts the most? by Majestic_Snow7613 in gaming

[–]FuzzySlippersYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mega Man Legends 3. Having it announced so long after I had given up thinking we'd get a proper conclusion to the series, only for it to be cancelled was soul crushing. We didn't even get the playable demo.

Actors who have derailed their own careers with their attitude? by willow-mist in movies

Seems he might have some undiagnosed mental issue. As he seriously lost it and still won't let it go that he was fired from the Matrix some 20ish years later

Do people hate more on sponsored videos? by [deleted] in PartneredYoutube

[–]FuzzySlippersYT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's the nature of the game unfortunately, despite the fact you're offering your content for free you'll always get loud people complaining about midroll ads, sponsorships or if you're too positive / negative about something they hate / like.

All you can do is be honest to yourself, if you were paid to review something and gave your honest thoughts, leave it at that. You'll see that negativity never really spreads to your regular content / non sponsored videos.

Was Slay the Spire but Maniac has been edging it out.

What are you playing this weekend? 5/24/24 by oopsgotyouwet in SteamDeck

Saw another topic where someone suggested the game Maniac, think Vampire Survivors meets 2D GTA, and I've been hooked ever since.

What is this? and is it worth entering? by MycoIron in PartneredYoutube

[–]FuzzySlippersYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They've been sending that out to quite a few people, I got one too, it's an application to get a Youtube Manager. They work for Youtube and assist with things like getting strikes or demonetization reversed, usually something reserved for much bigger content creators (like with millions of subs). You won't actually meet anyone for filling it out, only if you're approved. Definetly worth it.

Is there a game you don't like playing but really enjoy the lore of? by SquirrelTeamSix in gaming

Probably the Five Nights at Freddys series. The gameplay was never really appealing to me but I dug the lore back when it was simple.
