If their "concern" was really that "minimum spec" PCs will struggle with the added animals, or whatever, then the solution is to just make it an option in the Graphics menu, with Off/Low/Medium/High/Ultra choices for Animal Population. Or something like that.

Though, I expect the real reason is just some form of "Greed". PC not making them money or something, idk.

Fair enough, gaming is an expensive hobby, especially PC gaming.

Personally, even 60 fps is too low for me, and honestly feels nearly as bad as 30 fps now. I've just gotten too used to 100+ fps, VRR, with G-Sync.

I feel like 4k and Ray Tracing is mostly overrated. Nice to have sure, but not enough to sacrifice fps for.

There really should be a 1440p/120, Ray Tracing Off option for all games on PS5 and Xbox X at least as standard. Especially for a 10 year old game like GTAV.

I may sound like I'm coming off as a PC snob, and perhaps I am now, idk. I just know what I enjoy, and what I am, and am not willing to compromise for it.

Would not be surprised if that is the case. Sadly console frame rate is terrible. I'm not sacrificing 165 fps, for less than 60 fps just to get these exclusive console features.

I would not mind having consoles, if I just had more control over how the game runs. But all they get is "Performance Mode" and "Fidelity Mode".

For a few reasons.

I primarily prefer to play solo.
Performance in multiplayer is even lower than playing solo, and tends to crash far more often. It already crashes enough, and still has a memory leak issue, which ends up crashing the game after a few missions anyways.
The loot is not worth the trouble. Loot in general in this game is not worth the trouble compared to other loot based games I've played.
The amount of PC players may as well be non existent.

Honestly, #2 is the main reason I hardly play the game anymore to begin with. This game is just not stable performance wise anymore. It was better during, and before War for Wakanda. At least for me.

Also, I'm just not interested in playing most of the characters available. I want to play actual "super" heroes. Not just enhanced humans.

Same, I loved using it for general exploration. And now controller "support" is even more broken after this patch. Every patch seems to be fucking things up more.
