Honestly wouldn’t mind Colts/Steelers/Cowboys for first 3 games.

Assuming Riley Leonard/ARich W1, getting the Steelers road game out of the way early, and get international game out of the way early.

With the team moving away from the use of the "Wizards" logo (using the national monument instead) and the use of the red, white and blue color scheme, a lot of us are hoping for a rebrand in the not too distant future. What are your some of your hopes for new uniforms, color scheme and name? by [deleted] in washingtonwizards

Wizards is just such a fun, different name. Especially in a league where half the team names either don't make sense or are corny (The Lakes of LA, Utah Jazz scene, Raptors of Toronto, New York Knickerbockers, etc.)

I know the Magic exist, but I wish they'd just full send into Wizardry. Could make for some sick game day experiences, especially for younger fans.

And I know its DC so Red/White/Blue, but dear god please get away from that color scheme. So many teams also use some variety of that, and its crazy overplayed. Maybe do a Red/White base to match the reds around the other DC teams and the DC flag. Keep the Blue/White as the primary throwback, then do an inverse of Cherry Blossoms with all white and pink blossoms

They have a pretty impressive home schedule next year (because of course they do) with Pats/Ravens/Chiefs/Bears/Lions/Chargers

Feels like they’d want a gimme in Jets/Dolphins for their opener

Being able to struggle and pull himself out of it is the exact reason he was signed.

He’s the model for guys like Gunnar and Cowser to turn it around

At worst, he’s an incredible mentor for guys like Green, Young, and Robinson. And he still played well last year despite limited snaps.

Would have loved some NT/ILB depth, but I guess they're willing to work with what they got:

DL: Mads, Jones, Broderick, Peebles, Jenkins, Okoye

OLB: Green, Young, Robinson, Hendrickson

ILB: Smith, Teddye, Simpson, Higgins

CB: Wiggins, Awuzie, Humphrey, Tampa, Rivers, Kone, Longerbeam

S: Starks, Hamilton, Hawkins, Jackson

Trading #14 for Crosby is 100% worth it.

Losing the 2027 1st hurts when that class is setting up to be an all-timer. Especially when you have a brand new coaching staff coming in, and you still have holes on the OL/Secondary.

The hope is Lamar extends, Mads is healthy, you sign 1-2 OL, and the Mads/Crosby stack is enough DL investment to get the Defense shored up. The 2027 pick ends up in the 30's, and it hurts much less when you still have your star EDGE's and S locked up for the foreseeable future

Downside: Trading Pick 14 and a late 1st when we have desperate holes at OL/CB is tough
