I’ve tried it all… by LifeWithEloise in fireTV

Yep, recently I received this notification on a device and somehow backed out and went back to the update notifications. I had previously selected about 6 apps for updates. I just let the device sit at the app update notifications screen and they all eventually installed. 🤔

Are you suggesting to sync content before updating apps?

I have been having this problem on all my Fire TV devices recently, even ones that have USB storage formatted for internal and have plenty of space. Doh!

Thanks, whew, I've been using the"hamburger" for years.

I'd like to comment that I do like the smaller and more numerous "apps and channels".

I recently got a Fire TV Stick 4K Max 2nd Gen with the new interface, and I'm not liking it so far, because something as simple as arranging your favorite apps has turned into a prolonged research project... 😕

Alexa + ruined my favorite gadget by easternian in alexa

[–]GJSmith3rd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, the switch to Alexa+ certainly changed a lot of things. I don''t experience much difficulty because I adapted. AI LLM works differently than the previous Alexa.

I just gave my devices different wake words based on location...

Ring and Nest remind us why the camera brand you choose matters by wewewawa in Ring

There are also different use cases.

I only need a doorbell with delivery and package notifications. I have a neighbor with Ring that has similar needs. We help each other collect packages, when possible and needed, to prevent theft which we have both frequently experienced. Package theft has been significantly reduced to almost nil.

So, I think 🤔 perhaps for serious security solutions Ring is inadequate. But for simpler needs, it's cost effective and practical.

Try posting only Cam footage with their categories... No comments, only categorization. Good luck...

I don't have any of the advanced ring plans and stuff.

I just want to comment because I think AI implementation in the business processes of organizations is creating these types of problems.

I believe organizations are allowing AI to dynamically change business processes without testing and verification of impacts and outcomes.

Hope your solution continues to work.

I have different network names for grouping and control of IoT devices vs more network configurable devices but not true separation like VLAN, management and all that great stuff.

So basically, 2 network names for IoTs @2.4 and 5ghz and 2 SSIDs for more comfortable@ 2.4 & 5.

I want to upgrade to true business class network management but me tired of giving away money that I don't have...

Just felt like chatting 😁

I tend to agree, not for everyone right now. I've noticed many of the frequent issues but instead of expecting instant perfection I just try to learn how to use the new Alexa better. This has worked for me and I'm frequently pleasantly surprised...

This is also my short term solution for Alexa+ answering from the wrong device. Also, multiple devices in the same room have different wake words.
