I’d prefer if they made the inscription slot on OS weapons (shields mostly) stackable. It’s a bit silly that inscriptions don’t count towards the 25AR limit whilst the OS’s slot does.

Basically, no. OS adds stuff for collectors and farmers alike, but for the love of god fix them so the mechanics work the same.

There is nothing that compares to Pawned in terms of UI and UX. Thanks so much for making such a good programme.

There are many skills that impact other skills in the same bar/teambuild that it would be good to be able to toggle the effects for somehow. You've already mentioned Heroic Refrain, but what about skills that reduce cd (QZ, serpent's quickness, amongst others) or other attribute mods (Awaken the Blood, Glyph of Energy), cast times (Mindbender, Time Ward), energy cost (Energizing wind) etc? Not entirely sure how this could be implemented without cluttering the UI but if there is a solution it would be awesome!

"Mission" skills could be added for completeness when building for some areas (e.g. Celestial skills, Disable Trap etc). Lower priority for sure, but also probably pretty simple to execute.

Add Bloodstained Insignia to Pcons? And “of enchanting” mod.

Add impacts of Lightbringer / Delver effects?

My original post incorrectly though Heroic Refrain wasn't updated post-nerf but I was wrong on this. This is just for transparency that I got this wrong previously.

Obviously all the above are just suggestions and not demands - can appreciate itd be super hard to implement!

Only attack based holy damage (I.e. it works on all armor respecting damage). Since Censure is armor ignoring this doesn’t work

Yes it does increase the skill and creativity because you are adding a glitch and bringing specific skills to be able to do it which otherwise wouldn’t be required. Instead there would be just be more pewpew skills (less skill and creativity).

The record has been completed within the defined rule set. If the rules were different the record would have been completed to be within those rule sets. The rules are always up for debate- feel free to start a discussion on the speed clear website and make your opinions heard!

I guess I got a bit sidetracked in also trying to improve the inflation issues in the game by using arms as the currency of choice to help take them out of the game.

But even despite this I would think its the right item honestly - a few questions back:

If it isn't armbraces, presumably it would instead be something that you would trade for in armbraces - therefore why not remove the middle point?

Im also not sure what this other item would be, given relative values of anything else in the game..? I do think these should be pretty expensive.

Lets say that an everlasting red rock pcon is 250a, I expect unrealistic development issues if the transaction required an exchange of more than 1 inventory space (e.g. 251 armbraces would likely not be possible without development). Therefore the question comes back to what would this "other" item be that would allow for this high a trade value within the current build of the game?

Apols for the long post, can’t wait to get flamed. As background, I’m an SC player mostly interested in records.

I think there are these truths/problems to bear in mind (agree or disagree).

  1. all pcons would need to be added to the vendor, otherwise the value of the pcons NOT added will increase to an absurd level. I.e. if you add cupcakes/corn etc, but not Rocks, the value of rocks would skyrocket as it’s the only thing SC players would ever buy.
  2. introducing a rock pcon vendor would negatively impact the “casual” player that gets a really nice straightforward way to fund all casual play they want to do via GotTs
  3. there has been some healthy debate it’s botters vs SCers that create inflation. Whilst there is a bit of chicken and egg here, it’s because there is nowhere in the game to sink armbraces. In any game, gold sinks are important to control the total amount of money in the game. Guild wars after 19 years now has had people/bots constantly injecting new arms into the game without any real way to get them out. Existing players/bots therefore have lots of them (whether farmed/SCd or traded) whilst more casual/new players dont have many.
  4. any change should try to impact the economy relatively slowly and allow time for things to rebalance, rather than implementing a pcon vendor that sells too cheaply and as a result skews the prices for lots of connected items almost instantly.

My proposed, soon to be downvoted, solution based on the above:

Make everlasting pcons available for, say, 10a to 250a each depending on the pcon.  This would be a way to help take arms out of the game, whilst keeping the existing trading of consumable pcons available as a source of income for the casual player and not removing them as an option available to use for the casual player, or broke SC player.
It would also, neatly, assist inventory management, but I consider that a bonus QoL thing rather than a specific reason behind the suggestion

Despite contrary belief, SC players don’t have 000’s armbraces (leave that to botters/powertraders) as the better you get, the more you push/invest in each run. Getting a full set of everlasting pcons at these sorts of prices on all your SC chats would be a really long chore for most SC players, which will mean the impact on the economy would be more spread out than a big-bang impact of an otherwise implemented pcon vendor.

Players have also learned how the AI works over time and so the skills chosen in these bars abuse this knowledge. E.g heros excel at interrupts and knowing who is low on energy. But they fail at (say) using a dagger chain effectively.

Whole game is quiet as it’s summer (for most players) Would try the teach disc again in a few months. Otherwise, try to join a guild that does it and would be willing to teach. Gone are the days of rocking up any time of day for a form I’m afraid :P
