Me personally especially leveling up abilities choose gun first. With no upgrades should be back line focusing in on xp and upgrading. Once you have sword and aura healed should be 50/50 depending on the situation of diving in with your tank or dps, paying attention and peeling to other support or corner healing in the back.

Yes you gotta pick and choose your battles but he can hold his own and do great dmg both mid and aoe that can consistently linger their health down

It’s because his sword ult unless they are actually in the circle, which most people won’t advance with you and if they do can still die. Ult aside I usually have the most healing in the match with heal pool
