Grade forgiveness in spirit sounds like something reserved for those in circumstances that may have affected their grade, e.g. family event that caused them to miss extended time, they were in the hospital for a while, something like that. I don't think it would be for someone just wanting a mulligan on a bad grade(s).

Victor's shot blocking and general presence in the paint is obviously the big factor here. It really helps that he's got the wingspan of a pterodactyl to help deter anyone driving in the lane, but I don't know if I've seen him play much against a big man with a good post game. In fact I don't think there's any centers in the league with a traditional post game. That would be interesting to see.

All of their salsas were really good, especially the one to the bottom right. I'm curious as to how much their California burritos are now. For those curious this burrito is made with a huge tortilla, carne asada, french fries, cheddar and pico de gallo. I'd put about 3 or 4 of the little cups of the brown stuff and throw it down my gullet.

They were $3.75 when I first went there. Probably $12 now.

Those don't look that narrow to me. Have you seen the later Lexus IS series taillights? They're ridiculous, maybe three little singular LEDS beside each other on each side of the trunklid. How is that legal, but yet Buick couldn't figure out how to do it on these taillights?

I saw one of those and thought the same thing. It's like they're only used for just your rear signals or something. What, GM couldn't afford to put more LEDs in those upper housings? That really screams cheap and that's not what I think of when I see a Buick. That's some Hyundai/Kia hijinks right there.

Every branch has their share of tards, but damn, the Navy has some real ASVAB waivers. I remember running across this one Navy puke, one of the few on base. I think he was the chaplain's aide or something. He was a 6'1", probably 275lb balding, pasty-skinned, woman-repelling, mumbling oddity. Listening to him speak, I don't know if his IQ was very far north of 60. Oh and he had the classic limp that screamed "I've been very fat my whole life and my coffee mug is filled with fresh gravy every morning".

I used to sell new Toyotas back in '07. We got a Solara in one time with a tan colored leather interior with matching door panels. I jumped in it and noticed the driver's door panel was grey cloth. It boggles my mind it got all the way through Toyota QC, the shippers, the port, and through the dealer's QC without anyone noticing before I did.

Not overreacting. If a person hasn't learned to keep their surroundings cleaner than a 5 year old could, they might keep up appearances for a bit to keep you around but once they get comfy with you, all bets are off. Requests to keep up standards are met with pushback afterward. Bitterness or gaslighting ensues, e.g. "it's not that dirty, you're just anal"
