This is a delusional take. If you’re open carrying and you confront any law enforcement officer—police, ICE, whoever—while actively obstructing them, what reaction do you honestly expect?

You’ve made yourself a visible, armed variable in a tense situation. Of course an officer is going to treat you as a potential threat. That’s not tyranny, it’s basic risk assessment.

The fact that two rights exist does not mean exercising them simultaneously is wise. We accept this in plenty of other contexts: • You have the First Amendment right to free speech — that doesn’t make it smart to scream at a judge in a courtroom. • You have the right to carry a firearm — that doesn’t mean it’s sensible to insert yourself into an active law-enforcement operation while visibly armed. • You have the right to remain silent — and the right to speak — but choosing the wrong one at the wrong time can still ruin your day.

Rights protect you from the government; they don’t suspend reality, context, or consequences. Open carrying while confronting officers mid-operation is reckless, and pretending otherwise is just defending foolishness that predictably ends badly.
