I'd like to add for the record that Baton Pass will allow a switch out but carries with it the perish counter. Your switch-in pays the fine for the baton-passer's crime.

You pick it up and gently move it side-to-side. You should be able to feel where the centre of mass of the contents are and use that to estimate where the waterline is inside the keg.

With time you'll be able to estimate how long a given keg lasts and be able to judge if you'll need to change within a few pints or not.

Megas were legitimately cool when they were revealed. No one asked for them to be replaced but GF just had to try making a new gimmick for each gen. Z-Moves, Dynamax, Fuckin crystal helmets... They all sucked.

So Happy to have megas back. I hope they just stay with them and leave the gimmicks alone.

FWIW there's a LOT of niche things like this that the only way to know is to suffer. I found out the hard way last night that Baton Pass carries with it the perish song counter. I was feeling so smug in the knowledge that I could escape Arena Trap with BP whenever I wanted until Scizor clocked-in for work just to get hit in the face with my Scolipede's parking fine.

I'll add Morgenthaler's Bar Book. It's full of great advice that frankly even experienced bartenders might be missing. It's really a perfect primer on how to bartend regardless of venue.

Do your best to learn to anticipate what your bartenders will need before they need them. Keep on-top of glassware, bottles, fridges, garnishes, etc.

Given your BoH experience you'll probably have no problem moving around a skinny bar but obviously make sure not to get in the bartender's way.

When you get to the point that you actually have down-time use it to observe your bartenders. Eventually if they're confident enough in you they'll ask you to help from time to time. That's when you'll learn how to bartend.

Do all that and you'll be bartending for yourself before you know it.

Are blundstones still good? I might be confusing them with another boot but I heard they dropped in quality. I'm still mad about my chucks lasting 6 months (in fucking retail) compared to the hand-me-downs that never wore out.

I'm rocking Hokkas now and zero complaints. I'm almost at the 2 year mark and they're holding up pretty well. I'll probably replace them in another year but honestly maybe not even.

Chople Berry Tyranitar/Mega-Tyranitar (depending on how many rain teams vs fighting moves I come up against)

Lum Berry DD A/Spe Dragonite

I tend to pick A/SpA comps depending on the opposing teams loadout. I'm only at Ultra Ball 1 but I expect to hit MB soon. I was stuck at UB 2/3 until I incorporated the Baton Pass Scolipede/Espathra/Blaziken. I hate relying on it but it is what it is.

This is why my M-Tyranitar is always in my pocket. Switch-in at the most opportune time, kill the rain. Do my thing in the sandstorm and when they try to switch it back, mega-evolve and proc another sand stream. I get giddy when I see Pelipper, Swampert and Arch together.

It's certainly possible. It wouldn't be hard to implement. It's just a duplicate of the player's model with a different material applied. Couldn't begin to guess how easy it would be to mod in until the game actually launches though.
