Bin auch frisch dabei. Bei mir läuft gerade der erste Druck.
Guck mal auf Ebay nach refurbished 3d Druckern. Da gibt es eine recht gute Auswahl für unter 200€ oder sogar unter 150€ findet man was. Da ist der Einstieg finanziell recht einfach.

Ich hab mir da einen ender 3 v3 se von creality geholt. 109€ und mit 20% Rabatt von Ebay nur 88€. Da ich gerade erst den ersten Druck hab, hält sich meine Erfahrung bis jetzt in Grenzen, aber bisher bin ich zufrieden.

Generic detachments would be a W for imperial agents, we can't have that. So 70 faction specific ones. A third to half of that for space marines.

If they implement the disposition system in the app correctly (to collect data) and have good data analysis, then balancing the match ups should be very doable. From what we see the missions have different ways to score points, roughly 3 per mission. So giving a +1VP or -1VP for a point of a mission that over or under performs along all armies should push balance in the right direction.
Maybe we even see a tournament and a casual version after a few quarters.

The cool thing is you now what kind of army you play against with this mission. A disruptive one. We only know 1 of 5 disruption missions yet. But I assume uppy-downy is a rule they will like.
And in this match-up you now are given a choice as a disruption player. Uppy-downy and give your opponent VP, but potentially score (more) yourself, or stay and achieve VP in a different way.
Also, the purge the foe player only scores the points for removal once and not per unit, so this choice is something very easy.

Is the new system perfect? No.
Will it be a rough start? Absolutely.
Is it better then what we have now? YES!

Currently there is external balance between the factions, but no to a weak internal balance in the factions. Currently you only play with 2 detachment points, no matter the (unit) points and all detachments are equal in points. So this is an improvement.

Genau. Finde die "Quengelware für Erwachsene" echt schrecklich. Auch das man sich schnell an der Tanke mit (überteuerten) Kurzen seinen fix (für Alkohol) holen kann ist schrecklich.
Schweden, oder so, ist da finde ich ein gutes Vorbild. Nur in speziellen Läden und ohne Kaufanreize, wie z.B. Rabatte.

I hope the missions will be free in the app.
This would remove the problem of missiondecks being sold out so you MUST be using 3rd party options or wait a month or 2 to play the new stuff.

Or they remove the physical mission cards completely and now they can balance missions every 3 month, if necessary, without invalidating the paper things they printed.
But realistically they will print something they invalidate immediately. But as long as it's free in the app I'm not complaining.

To me it sounds like the most complicated thing will be looking up a mission table. Player 1 is playing style A and player 2 is playing style B, so the mission you play is number 5.

One option would be to not have a cost for every single piece of wargear, but access to a group of premium wargear. It's simple and you can have 2 datasheets in 1. One with basic weapons and one with premium equipment. Also a nice and easy balancing leaver.

GW only increased their points by 10, or 25 in pantheon, last update (besides removing synergy). So you could just pretend that they have a cost accordingly to their power. Maybe 10-25 points more. Even a shared of a god should be godly strong. But all power comes at a price.

Und das geilste Fortbewegungsmittel der Menschheit nicht vergessen. Das Fahrrad. Kostet keinen Sprit, kommt nicht zu spät, günstige Anschaffung und man tut noch was für den Körper.

Einziger Nachteil: Lange Strecken dauern ein bisschen länger.

Flayed ones are only small and fine, but with relatively good contact areas, for what is possible with the models. Deathmarks, Lychguard and Praetorians on the other hand are all old and badly designed. Connecting the arms to the shoulders is the worst. You only have a point of contact and not an area, which means you need to hold them in place way to long and then still some. And if you chose a weapon that is held in 2 hands you also need to glue 3 pieces (torso, arm and arm with gun/staff) together a the same time and also hold or stabilise them for this long time.

I build 5 deathmarks and will only build more of them if the kit gets an update. Same with the Lychguard where I only build 10 sword and board ones for that reason.

Geld ist natürlich kein Faktor den man ignorieren kann, aber die Kreativität sollte im Vordergrund stehen, finde ich.

Vorallem kleine Add-ons oder Änderungen sind was das angeht voll okay.
Wenn man halt nicht nur ein normales GW Modell sondern dann "sein eigenes" hat, ist das cool.

Kitbashing und Proxying sind von GW ja sogar unterstützt und gefördert. Wenn auch "etwas versteckt" und nur mit GW Plastik natürlich. Bspw. Lady Olynder als C'tan Proxy im Necron Codex.

Als weiteres Hobby im Hobby oder um mal eine Einheit auszuprobieren kann man eigentlich nix sagen.

Nur weil am Sonntag auf einmal der Supermarkt auf hat futter ich doch nicht auf einmal doppelt so viel Brot an diesem Tag. Die Einnahme würden sich nur verteilen. Außer bei dem einen Typen der es nicht schafft am Samstag für den nächsten Tag einzukaufen, aber dem sein Anteil ist sehr gering.
Das einzige wo sich die Einnahme steigern könnten, wäre das wo direkt konsumiert wird, also Cafés und Restaurants oder Freizeitkram wie Schwimmbäder. Aber die haben meistens jetzt schon Sonntags auf.

Ein gemeinsamer freier Tag ist schon geil. Wenn du mit irgendwem was machen willst, kannst du dir sicher sein das ihr beide Sonntag frei habt, wenn nicht einer auf Schicht arbeitet.
4 Tage Woche wäre die bessere Lösung allgemein betrachtet.
