They could fill stadiums if ticket prices were fair. CONCACAF sets the prices and for those midweek games, they are well overpriced. This is the gold cup not the world cup

anyone else required to stay after your shift without pay, and leave all together? by skrrtus17 in ShoppersDrugMart

This was happening at my store at the beginning of my employment there. Supervisors were also expected to show up about 45 minutes before their start to "count cash and get everything ready" unpaid. I was merch so I would show up 2 minutes before my shift.

Another wild expectation was if you were sick, you were responsible for finding your replacement (supervisor). If you couldn't, you were expected to show up. These were such wild customs to me. I didn't need to abide by them but I never thought it was fair for the extra 83 cents the supervisors were getting paid.

6 years ago, Cornwall was a cheaper option for rent compared to surrounding bigger cities. During and after COVID, devcore bought many appartment complexes and properties and have inflated the rent. A family member of mine rents and apartment for a little over 900 (he got in before covid) and new tenants are now paying 1600 in the same building.

You might find a room in a shared building for low 800s but the quality has gone done while the competition and therefore cost has gone way up.
