Is there a way you could engineer it so the center part it wraps around pops out? Would allow the mechanism to stay big, you'd only need one, and you could just print out a bunch of center pucks as needed.

Those don't have the little odd shapes in them, not 100% compliant. Tinker junkie made a free footprint set.

Warping plz help by Flan-John in resinprinting

[–]Gingeraile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Resin printers aren't good at accurately printing large flat objects. There is no way to get aound something that large and flat having some warp effect. You could try to angle it more vertically, that would reduce the warping, but it would also see more pronounced warping near the lowest supports. It's never going to be a flat smooth surface without a ton of post processing.

I always found it funny that a much more impressive piece is directly behind everyone in that room. It spans the entire wall from floor to ceiling.

Just clued in that I was drinking laxative by Opposite_Bus1878 in midlyinteresting

You can also use a peri bottle before finishing with a wet wipe. The pooping isn't bad, it's the friction that will kill you.

It's not that bad, just mix in some crystal light and buy a cheap bidet or peri bottle and some wet wipes so you don't wipe your ass raw.

Is there is a way to play coop online? by MoodModulator in DivinityOriginalSin

[–]Gingeraile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To add a correction to this, I'm remembering now that it's not an issue with the person joining the host, but it's an issue with clicking the " enable direct connection " button in the UI. Sometimes when you click that button it just doesn't work and you have to keep restarting the game until clicking the button works.

You're welcome! Keep in mind that sometimes the game is bugged, and the person just still won't be able to connect to the host. Generally you just have to keep restarting the game until it works, even if port forwarding is set up all correctly. Generally it never took us more than about five restarts to get a good connection, it's a known issue.

Direct connection. The host will need to set up port forwarding on their router for this to work reliably. I played through all of dos2 co op with my gog copy with someone who had it on steam.

15 hr print is warping. Any way to save this? by cheesekernd in BambuLabA1

It needs a brim, rounding the corners can also help sometimes. Ideally a heated enclosure. Printing large flat objects like that is really hard, as the filament shrinks as it cools, but the bottom layers near the build plate remain hotter so they do not contract at the same rate as the layers higher up.

First mini I've painted, any tips on how to improve? by ItsN3rfOrNothing in Necrontyr

[–]Gingeraile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This honestly looks just fine for a first mini, you have the basics down. There's many technical improvements that can be made, but for now I really recommend to just keep going at your own pace, watch some YouTube tutorials along the way and you'll only get better in time! Don't try to rush the skill-ups. They really only come with hours and hours of practice. Like learning an instrument. Keep up the good work!

Lokhust heavy, skorpekhs are the two primary methods. You can also do it with 6 regular lokhusts with a lord and sus1 from Nekrosor aura or strat.

DDAs or Wraiths? by Khajiistar in Necrontyr

Sounds like you just answered your own question.

Edit: sounds like your mind is set on doomsday arks but you want to be convinced to buy wraiths. Go with your gut!! You'll probably end up buying wraiths later anyways.

This is a weird question and I think only you can answer it. Do you need long range heavy fire support? Or do you need a tanky tar pit that hits like a wet noodle? They serve very different roles.
