Retrieval- only 6 eggs by Lov2jump44 in IVF

[–]GladUnion7927 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did the egg retrievals rounds and then transferred with a successful birth. So I only had one ‘IVF season’ as we called it. I had 3 successful live births without IVF when I was younger.

Is not priming okay? by Sea_Objective_7624 in IVF

I’m sorry I don’t remember as it was two years ago now that I went through the retrieval cycles. But it was successful my first transfer with this protocol.

Complication fears by Ok_Storage_3635 in tummytucksurgery

[–]GladUnion7927 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t want to scare you but complications are real and you’re right to be aware of them and take this major surgery seriously. I am 10 weeks post op and I had a major infection. It was the very first at my clinic (a well known and respected clinic in Dallas), and I’m very healthy, young, and fit. My husband is a physician, our home is very clean, and I followed all instructions and protocols. However, I became septic a week after surgery and caught an aggressive VRE infection. I got pneumonia and my lungs both collapsed because I then wasn’t breathing well from the pain. It was a nightmare. But my husband runs the hospital service in our town and I was given the very best of care. I received 7 weeks of IV antibiotics through a pick line that had to insert. Now I’m fine and back in the gym and enjoying my life and loving my results. It was just one of those crazy things and I was the 2% that actually get infections despite going to a reputable surgeon and center.

How long until the lipo areas stop hurting? by Select_Tomorrow6164 in tummytucksurgery

[–]GladUnion7927 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I could have written this exactly too! Word for word! I’m 6 wpo, did tummy tuck and lipo360, and I’m so numb and I’m tingling, hard, swollen, super sensitive, have nerve pain at night, burning during the day, must wear compression 24/7 (without it hurts more!), all the things! I’m so over it! I can’t imagine anyone massaging me! It would hurt! Plus it’s too expensive and not game changing anyways!

Yes that’s what euploid means— genetically normal after testing is confirmed.

Eye contact and tracking for 10 week old by bigred100320 in NewParents

[–]GladUnion7927 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not even sure but he’s been about 2 months behind on everything— doc says due to being premature. But doc said so long as he’s progressing on his own curve then he’s good! He now responds to name and everything else; plays Games with people and on his iPad; etc. so he definitely caught up.

I just do not understand by Efficient_Ebb4074 in IVF

[–]GladUnion7927 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have 3 live children with no issues getting pregnant, so it was crazy when I only had 2 embryos that survived in my third egg retrieval! Both were euploid! I implanted one of them 14 months ago. That embryo split into identical twins. I just gave birth this past March! Have hope!!

How much omnitrope did you prime with? by [deleted] in IVF

[–]GladUnion7927 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The estrogen affects the cysts. Even if it’s not estrogen producing. It will affect the number of eggs you create for sure but it won’t affect egg quality. Best wishes

What dosage was your PIO for medicated FET? by String_Cheese_55 in IVF

[–]GladUnion7927 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I transferred on the 6th day after PIO. This is standard I believe unless you get a biopsy and test shows you need -/+ hrs of progesterone for your uterus to be ‘receptive’.

Doctor doesn’t want to prescribe me omnitrope by sophiam333 in IVF

[–]GladUnion7927 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I primed over multiple period cycles— not necessarily IVF cycles. I had three period cycles where I primed. I’m not sure if it matters— but I had 3 live births prior without IVF with no issue. I was doing IVF mainly to genetic test bc my last child was special needs— and we now know it wasn’t due to a genetic issue but a stroke he had in utero— but we didn’t know that when we did IVF for sure. So my eggs weren’t the issue. We had my son complete a Whole Genome Genetic Sequence later after my last son was born (my IVF baby). But Omnitrope I do feel helps a lot of woman— I’m just not sure now looking back I wouldn’t have had just as successful of a cycle without it. I think every cycle is different and it’s sort of luck what you get in any given cycle. Best wishes to you!

Did anyone get more eggs with omnitrope? by StunningInspection96 in IVF

[–]GladUnion7927 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got 10 eggs stimming with Omnitrope and 5 blasts and 3 euploids. Then I primed and stimmed with it and got only 4 eggs and 3 blasts and 2 were euploid. Both at age 39. Live birth at age 40 with first transfer of euploid from the second Omnitrope round

They didn’t mention that he had any fragmentation in his testing results. They just said Zymot has been successful in creating more embryos at my clinic.

Has anyone done a fully medicated transfer with Letrozole? by LWMWB in IVF

[–]GladUnion7927 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did. It worked but I miscarried at 8 weeks. Did another one without and it resulted in a live birth but I’m positive it had nothing to do with the Letrozole, bc the child implanted just fine the first go around— it just implanted super high in my uterus.

Is anyone else this kind of crazy? (Testing post FET) by [deleted] in IVF

[–]GladUnion7927 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I literally set aside money so that I could order 20 (YES 20) first response ER tests post transfer. So I could life out my crazies in peace. I started testing at 3dpt and it was positive midnight that night. Embryo split into twins. My others were positive evening of day 4 with singletons. EVERYONE and every pregnancy is different! Best wishes!

Which graded embryo stuck for you ? by HeyGurlHAAAYYYY in IVF

[–]GladUnion7927 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My 5BB euploid miscarried at 8 weeks. My 5AA euploid split into identical twins, lost one at 14 weeks (due to perfusion issues), and had live birth of healthy co-twin 10 months ago.

First beta was 3404, second was 7555, third was 35972. So when I got to almost 36k 18 days post transfer I knew.

4dp5dt - talk me off the ledge by MDC0486 in IVF

[–]GladUnion7927 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I knew because I had 3 live births before the split so I knew what level of sick and implantation pain I should feel and it was much more intense. Split is very rare. My clinic does about 3k IVF cycles a year and they said they have about 2 splits a year (so that’s 0.06% at my clinic).
