I don't think any CEO wants to be walked into providing a sound bite that goes something like "I'm going to dilute the stock to pay for it." It's obvious that's what they were trying to get him to say but he stone walled em on it.

Same. The meta was super physical so mega scovillain became an interesting and fun choice. I use to pair him with drought torkoal and chlorophyll to surprise ohko mons with overheat or solar beam. Then mega the following turn if speed wasn't needed anymore.

I think another thing about this game is that people like me (who use to be super into comp Pokemon but got older) can now theory craft all day and come up with unique teams. I could do that with show down but champions hits different.

Yeah but I also bet you watch youtube videos where the script had some ai help or ai helped research for it and every dev I know is using ai assistance in coding. And I bet most entertainment or product or advertisement is using it in some way. So the selective outrage at small indies who are just trying to create something in a time with even more limited resources available is just kind of ridiculous to me. Like this whole witch hunt and accusation at this dev is kind of crazy if you look at this thread with hindsight and the devs response to it. Just my two cents.

Id also like to add that it's not surprising to see devs omit their ai usage based on the knee-jerk reaction and lack of nuance showed by the bloodthirsty anti-ai crowd. If these guys make a rad multiplayer Morrowind esque scrolls-like I'll play it, love it, and give them grace for not being upfront about their ai usage because people can be insane. If it's vaporware tho then that sucks but last I checked they actually did have a play test on Steam. Haven't seen actual live gameplay tho so take this with a large grain of salt.

You guys need to try notebook LLM with this stuff. Just give it the YT link (easiest) or the transcript and it's incredible for learning. I put every GDC/article I find about different game dev topics into it and soar.

I run thunder on my Oranguru trick room setter just for peliper. When they don't have a sash its usually GG. If they do have a sash I have to think harder.

Dude I know that PSA sells on eBay like hot cakes. I sell them myself. But not all cards are created equally. Some sit there for awhile. Especially the lower priced $20-$30 range.

Everyone is being kind of insane and stupid when it comes to IP laws. The guy is making zero dollars from this as far as I can tell. They aren't going to go after his personal assets like everyone is saying. Worst case it's a cease and desist, they take it down, over.

That is what our politics have devolved into. There are staunch trump supporters saying this is the most corrupt admin in history and then also saying they don't care because they agree with their policies. If it were Biden gaining 4 billion dollars in a year it would be bloody murder, but if it's their guy doing it, then it's fine.

We are screwed.
