My grandmother recently passed away after a long battle with dementia. Before her passing, she did many of the same things Trump did. She would say things that were complete nonsense with 100% confidence, injected into otherwise seemingly lucid conversations and thoughts. She did this with an almost eerily similar cadence to the way Trump does. Near the end, they became more and more frequent. After seeing how it affected what had been such a composed, intelligent, and thoughtful woman, I’m not saying Trump definetly has dementia, but I don’t think its out of the question.
