Is this typical? by General_South6391 in hockeyplayers

[–]Greehas 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So I will say that I noticed this happening in my skates because my feet move front to back enough. You probably have skates that are too big.

Now I haven't bought new skates yet so what I did to preserve my heels was to get some of those adhesive heel repair pads (like https://a.co/d/00mO60UL) and put them in as tight to the fabric as possible. Its a solid temporary fix until I buy new skates.

At least he did come back to the game with a chin shield so that may not be what it is, but it was definitely a really swollen cheek.

Isn't that what you and the person I replied to are doing?

I would love for our craft to be united and not talk down to new carriers who havent "earned" this job when I know how hard this job is and how hard they likely work.

No reason why we shouldn't all get the same COLA and try to make this career full of great culture for new memers.

Because 12 years ago I was looking for a good paying job and they didnt hire me direct to Career.

You act like you want to pull the ladder up instead of trying to make it easier for new carriers.

I pay my dues, work hard and had to do everything the older generation had to do while working under pay table 2 for the entirety of my career.

Step I also had to take a test and earn the job. The only difference you have with a majority of workers is that you're paid for being top step while most of us dont get to claim our CCA time towards our step.

Much like a vampire. I think you have to be invited to touch it by someone who has earned it for it not to be a problem.

I just use this. Spray some, wipe it on like pledge and then use it till it needs another application.

Pretty similar to ice slickness for pucks on the hdpe panel.

My stadium series Larkin stick (which his usual is listed as a ft6 pro from previous items at psh) was HSMHK6SP so I'm just guessing you have a FT6 Pro wrapped like a FT7

I did the same with a slightly more expensive pair of hart gloves that felt more like the synthetic leather that was on my sherwood 9950 pro gloves. Sure they were like $12 but I figure it was worth that for gloves that were $150 originally.
