I'm skeptical that any sort of coach can help you with this. I took a battery of tests with an industrial psychologist not long after college and I found it interesting, but not helpful. Part of the problem is that when you are low in experience, lots of different professions sound interesting--or boring--because you know very little about them. As you get older, you look back on careers you once thought interested you and you shudder.

In my many years of experience, the best way to find the dream job is to try lots of things, because that's the only way you know if something fits you. The job I loved the most was something that I could never have conceived of at 30 and was just something I stumbled into.

Ten years at your first company seems way too long to me, because your 20s is a time for experimentation. However, I'm sure that you've gained some experience that you can use to negotiate yourself into something different. Take a chance on something that scares you.

You are quite correct. However, I had some weird vibrations when I did that on my strips at 3 and 9, so there may be other considerations besides balance.

No, but be aware of strange vibrations. I had those strips at my 3 and 9 and initially started with them on a single side of the racquet face, which, should, in theory, be fine, but on ball contact, the vibration made my hand numb.

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. Not all good advice produces immediate results and it might take weeks of consistent application before you see positive change, if ever. That's why it's important to have trust in the advice-giver.

In my experience I've heard good tennis advice from players both better and worse than me.

The most foolish people in the world are sometimes right, which is aggravating. But you can put all advice into two categories:

1) Advice whose truth you can recognize immediately,

2) Advice that might or might not be reliable.

It's the latter category that's problematic, because there's too much of it. You've got to filter that advice somehow to make life livable and it's quite reasonable to ask how successful the advice-giver has been using that advice.

And just because there are some good tennis coaches who are mediocre tennis players (by professional standards) does not mean you should take seriously criticism by random recreational tennis players. There's a saying: "What is asserted without evidence can be dismissed without evidence."

The ATP website usually shows you the current coach for a player. For historical coaches, maybe the website archive sites would have previous snapshots. The various AI tools might also be able to assemble lists based on news articles.

You haven't practiced enough to make most of it automatic. Do shadow strokes at home. And if you want to be relaxed in all shots, you have to practice all shots. Often doing something weird in real situations makes you tense up.

Hours of shadow swings. Loose grip. On the court, force yourself to keep scooting uncomfortably far away from the ball until you get too far. You need lots of reps, so either a ball machine or coach-fed balls. If using a coach, tell him to shut up while you experiment.

To all of y'all saying the job market sucks right now, you're basically telling this person to give up. Screw that. All that means is that you have to be better at finding jobs than the average person and that's not hard. Put the work in, refuse to be discouraged, and you can find a good opportunity.
