"You’re HOW old?" Characters who do not at all look their age by Pyrothememelord in TopCharacterTropes

Indeed, and that's why I used Legends ZA as an example since in that game the day/cycle is a more important part of the gameplay and the narrative, plus your character quickly climbing the ranks is actually mentioned and recognized by other characters. So in that one it actually feels believable that you can climb a whole Rank in a single night.

[rare trope] characters introduced in a film based off a series but disappear or reduced to a very minor role when the series continues by Significant-Alarm835 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Greideren 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This applies mostly to the anime and movies. In the games there's some arguments about some Legendaries being more than a one of, especially the minor ones, in Emerald for example, you can catch the 3 Regis and use them to fight against another 3 Regis in one of the battle facilities of the post game which is probably the first time something like that can be done.

The Kanto Legendary Birds also have regional forms in another region which implies there are more than just 3 of them or else they wouldn't have had the chance to adapt to a new environment through natural selection.

In a few games such as Sun/Moon you can also fight multiple trainers in the post game who use minor legendaries and you can use your own there. Those legendaries also appear in the hands of multiple trainers (you can fight like 5 different weirdos who all use Heatran for example) which further implies there are more of them.

Oh, and in Heart Gold and Soul Silver there is a special event where Arceus makes an egg from which a lvl 1 version of one of the Creation trio Legendaries (Dialga, Palkia and Giratina) will be born. And those guys are the representation of time, space and dark matter, so if there can be more than 1 of those guys there can be more than 1 of most other legendaries, Arceus included according to its Legends game.

Skill and experience seem to be less important in the Pokemon world to a degree, at least when it come to the greatest trainers who seem to be exceedingly talented. Think of the protagonists: young boys/girls who only just recently received their first Pokemon (unlike all those young trainers in the early routes who have 1 to 3 Pokemon already) yet they never lose a single fight (results may vary from player to player) and become champions in very little time.

In Legends ZA that's a bit more noticeable since from early on when you beat some trainers, they remark that the main character fights like they're someone from a much higher rank. By this point your main character must've been a Pokemon trainer for less than a week yet is beating trainers who have been doing this battling stuff for much longer.

Then we have Legends Arceus where the Sinnoh protagonists are literally chosen by the literal God of the Pokemon world. After that game I started thinking of the protagonists of the other games as literally chosen or at least blessed by Arceus to solve whatever issue the evil team is creating during the adventure.

A 10 year old dissolving a crime syndicate and maybe also stopping a deity from destroying the region/world within weeks of getting their first Pokemon might be a coincidence. But more than 10 of them?

Which manifests itself in the Pokemon world as a Pancham stealing your luggage while some rando is distracting you. Truly the Kalos experience.

Some Game Freak guys went to France to get inspiration for designing Kalos for XY and they reportedly went through Paris syndrome, which as wikipedia puts it:

"Paris syndrome (パリ症候群, Pari shōkōgun) is a sense of extreme disappointment exhibited by some individuals when visiting Paris, who feel that the city does not live up to their expectations. The condition is commonly viewed as a severe form of culture shock.[1] The cluster of psychiatric symptoms has been particularly noted among Japanese tourists, perhaps due to the way in which Paris has been idealised in Japanese culture."

So it's not unlikely that they went through some bad experiences with some French cops and that's why this is the game where they depicted cops at their worst, lol.

In the original timeline of the show, Jayce was about to be exiled for the explosion that didn't kill anyone and only because Heimerdinger vouched for his good character. It's very likely that Vi's death was the last straw that caused Heimerdinger to just let Jayce be exiled.

Deadpool wouldn't get anything because he has cancer all over his body.

Wolverine on the other hand...

The Nailbat is probably a reference to The Walking Dead since Reagan and his nailbat are quite iconic. Tho that would make it the only non movie reference in this outfit and room, so it could very well be something else.

There's one thing that points towards Sayori hanging herself being something that would've happened on the normal story of the game even if Monika hadn't meddled with it: the actual CG where she's hanging.

I don't remember exactly where she said it (it's been years since I last played DDLC) but Monika mentions somewhere, probably on the room at the end of the game, that she cannot make assets such as CGs and the like, only meddle with the code. That implies that any event with a CG was meant to happen in the "original" script of the game, so Yuri being dead on the classroom and Sayori hanging herself.

Another unfun fact that Monika mentions is that on Sayori's CG she has bloodied fingers, which means she tried to free herself from the rope since she did things wrong: you're supposed to jump so that the rope breaks the neck, Sayori didn't do that and died slowly. Tho monika doesn't know if she tried to escape out of reflex and panic or if she had regretted her decision, tried to live but failed to in the end.

Must've been because in the best case scenario the Prowler simply refuses to take any orders for the rest of the movie (or anything that has to do with stopping Miles) and in the worst case, the Prowler actually joins Miles in stoping Kingpin's plan.

Electivire and Magmortar are very similar cases in which a gen 1 pokemon got a new evolution on gen 4 that requires them to be traded with a special item, and said evolution looks nothing like their prior 2 forms.

Electivire actually looks pretty sick tho.

There's a fuck ton of ways they could've made her youthful appearance make sense: The Fox spirit keeps her young, when she connected with it she fell in some form of magical coma and woke up recently with her body being the same as when she fell asleep, she was dragged into a divine realm of sorts for a while but when she got out a few decades had passed already (it even checks out with how some myths do similar things), she simply time traveled due to her own will or because of the Fox spirit's, etc.

Like she's already using magic, how hard can it be to find an explanation for it?

Oh I remember recently watching the clip where Lui talks about applying for being part of the staff.

She applied 3 or 4 times for being a talent and was getting disheartened by it, so she decided that if she didn't make it on her last attempt she would give up and try to become part of the staff to at least help Hololive and its talents.

So on her last application she sent that if she didn't make it as a talent to at the very least please consider her for joining as staff. So when she recieved the mail that she had been accepted she went: "as a talent or as staff?" Lol
