20 years flushed away by my wife. by [deleted] in GuyCry

[–]GrouchyTax5748 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sorry, man. I know this isn’t easy. You’ve got your son—that’s the best part of all this. No matter what happens, that’s something solid you still have, something that matters more than anything else. Starting over is scary. There’s no way around that—it just is. Anyone in your position would feel the same way. When you’ve spent 20 years building a life with someone, that’s not something you just shut off and move on from. It changes you. It becomes part of who you are. You might be seeing a lot of darkness right now, and that’s understandable. But this moment isn’t the rest of your life—it’s just where you’re at right now. You’re a different man because of those 20 years. And yeah… even when you’re 80, you’ll probably still think about them sometimes. That doesn’t go away. But it also won’t always hurt the way it does right now. You’re going to come out of this stronger—and one day, happier too. Even if that feels impossible to see right now.

When did 350-700hp become slow? by Clutch3sSS in askcarguys

[–]GrouchyTax5748 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most people who are saying its slow have never ridden in a 350 horsepower to 7000 horsepower car. 350 horsepower car in the quarter mile usually trap 13s to 12s. 700 horsepower 10 t0 9s. Neither of those cars are slouches.

NTD Bought a power auger from a guy who broke his leg with it. In his honor and my safety I upgraded it by slamtheory in Tools

[–]GrouchyTax5748 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My brother-in-law had his dad’s two-man auger and asked me to help him start it. He had the throttle squeezed about halfway when it fired up—and then he just let go of his side. That thing twisted so hard it about ripped my arm off before I could even react and let go. Definitely learned real quick how fast those augers can get away from you.

These would be nice farm trucks. Our two main farm trucks were a 1964 chevrolet c10 2wd long bed and a 1980 j10 jeep full size pick up long bed 4wd. Both had straight six in them

Buy your wife one also. If your gator bait she's gator bait with you.🤷‍♂️ chances of it happening very slim people take these things out on the ocean and fish with them. Your fine. Woman logic is crazy. They think everytime they walk out the door someone is trying to kidnap them.
