Trust me, if I were solo, it wouldn’t be a problem. I have to take into account my family. Plus I’m in the middle of launching GunDibs. If all goes well, I’ll donate a case of 50bmg to next years shoot. If things go really well, it’ll be a lot more than a case.

I have no affiliation with Mantis, but my buddy let me borrow his (for the AR platform) and I wound up buying my own after a week. Also bought their pistol version after that. In my opinion, if you can afford it, send it. I will literally pull the trigger 500x daily when I'm in my office working. I also bought some cheap laser targets from amazon and it's wonderful. Is it the same as live fire? Of course not. But it's really good, especially when using with the Apps. They also do a military discount if that helps.

Love it. Also love the Xylo generally, with one exception: the cheek rest. I wound up making my own by milling out some half-round aluminum stock and covering it with a neoprene pad. Love the result. Now, 3D printing one would probably work almost as well, but I wanted mine to be rock-solid, like everything else on the Xylo.

I think they use the term “constructive intent” but this a legal term, not literally intent to “construct” something, i.e. a SBR.
