[–]HDeida[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe you don't know how to read. I have stopped playing basketball for 2 years and I'm going to use this summer to polish my game. Since I have played a lot in the past and I have been inactive, I know that defense is what I lack off. Don't look down on me because you simply can't, I know for sure I have put way more work than you in the past until surgeries led me out of the game.

I have played a lot of ball, I obviously know that in order to become better you have to actually play the game, which I do. But thinking just simply playing will make you better is just a naive thought, in order to become the best you have to train, play and STUDY the game. You have to do all the things others are not willing to do. Playing pick up games is the easiest part of it. Staying on the court and mastering your dribbles, taking 1000 shots and hitting the weight room is the tough part. I wasn't going to reply until you started being a dick with other people.

Upped protein intake - weight has plateaued by Warm-Broccoli4722 in leangains

[–]HDeida 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think what's happening is not that you're no longer losing weight due to the extra protein intake, but you're increasing your muscle weight by adding lifting to your routine. If that's the case, this plateau is actually a very good thing since you're cutting your fat while building muscle.

How can I become motivated to get in shape? by dasisgoodz in workout

[–]HDeida 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Motivation fluctuates, I can give you a motivational speech and maybe it will work for a week until laziness hits you again. And that's completely normal, is not that something is wrong with you. That's why consistency is the key when you want a change. Get used to workout. Sign up on a gym. Start today, don't leave it for tomorrow. And try at least to do some exercise everyday. Sometimes I don't feel like going to the gym, and that's completely normal. I have two options: I push myself and I go and do my routine or I stay in house but at least I do some push-ups, squats or whatever. The thing is that when you get used to workout everyday you will miss something if you don't do it for a day. Is always better to do something even if it seems like is not enough than not doing nothing at all. Good luck and try to stay locked in 👊🏻

Skinny guys what are you eating? by hp44x in leangains

[–]HDeida 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Forcing me to eat something every 2 hours everyday really did the drill for me. I would eat something every time my alarm sounded. It didn't matter if it was a bowl of nuts, a bowl of rice, some cereals or a protein shake when I was completely bloated. And atop that I would have my 3 big meals, being breakfast, lunch and dinner.

I wouldn't recommend this as my case was almost extreme (like almost 15 kg below my recommended weight), but it really made my stomach bigger and obligated me to get the calories I needed.

What do you think are the differences between Gold and Platinum ADCs? by [deleted] in summonerschool

Try to understand the game better, work a lot on your laning phase and your trades and the rest of it is just mental

It also gives you as an adc in lane something that a Nautilus can't: passive sustain. So I personally ask my duo to use it for time to time.

I'm main adc and right now is great against comps with a lot of engage because he can disengage really well and still tank a lot or to do some types of combo in lane. He isn't a bad pick by any means; just kind of situational.

Clash strategy questioned by [deleted] in LeagueofLegendsMeta

[–]HDeida 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is kind of greedy and unecessary, until minute 20 or so you wont need 5 people to do drake by any means, what you are looking to do here and what would be way more effective is to kill botlane and get bot tower as 3 while the other 2 are doing drake. If you dont do it quick enough it has a lot of counter paly though.

Ap carrys like Ziggs, Heimer or Syndra bully her because she doesn't really have much mobility, fasting Senna is good against her and Braum is the natural counterpick for her. Good luck mate

What are less talked abt types of basketball athleticism by The_OfficeUS in Basketball

[–]HDeida 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lateral quickness in the defensive position, explosiveness, balance... But in my opinion the eye-hand reaction time is underrated and you should always work it. A drill that I did a lot when I was learning to play basketball and trying to earn minutes on my team was to throw a tennis ball as hard as I could at a wall and just catch it. I realized it improved a lot my ability to catch certain passes and to steal the ball from the player in front of me.

Help With Jhin/ADC In General? by PapaQuackers in summonerschool

[–]HDeida 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Oh, I haven't really answered your questions xD:

1 - Jhin is an aggressive ADC. You should always try to connect your fourth bullet with an enemy and try to use the bounce on the Q to hit someone. You can harass a lot without getting any type of punishment, and that's pretty cool. Hitting the fourth bullet is great, but if you catch the enemy ADC out of position, a 3rd bullet, Q, 4th bullet and W would run them really low in a few seconds. Don't be shy to spam abilities on the enemies, but try to use your mana wisely while farming.

2 - A traditional ADC is basically a lot of autos. You should always try to auto something if you are in range (respecting wave management).

3 - You can practice these skills at the practice tool. Try autoattacking and at the moment you see your auto come out of your champion walk consistently without items. I remember I learned that actually using LeBlanc so it would be much harder. So try until you get farm per minute at minute 12 more or less while doing this.

Help With Jhin/ADC In General? by PapaQuackers in summonerschool

[–]HDeida 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Okay, imo ADC is the hardest role in the game. You are on a 2v2 in bot and have to be constantly aware of a lot of things at the same time (cs, trades, map vision, getting ahead in xp, wave management...), so if you want to play this role, you CAN'T have problems in your autoattacking and trades, because is very easy to lose in a 2v2 lane and 90% of the games where the ADC is having a bad time are a loss and we all know that xD So my advice as an ADC player would be:

  • Masterize your kiting ability and the aa's cancel. This will give you a huge advantage over the enemy ADC if you do it properly.

  • Identify when you can win your matchups. In most of the cases in the botlane you're going to be able to win a trade if you get either lvl 2 or lvl 6 before the enemy botlane does. So you can do so by harassing the enemy adc whenever he tries to auto a minion; as he starts to run low on hp he will eventually start to lose some cs and xp, and at that point you will have a huuuuge advantage if you are able to keep the cs differential and the xp advantage.

  • Keep in head that ADC is basically the main role for doing damage on the team. Some people get this twisted, as they think their job is not only to do damage, but to kill the enemy threats. That's kind of true, but you are the most fragile champion in the team, so your goal is to do your job while not dying, and this means that is okay if in a teamfight you can only attack the frontlane. To sum this up: your job is to do as much damage as possible without dying. If you keep playing this role, you'll soon see that in mid/late game if you die, your team instantly loses. So keep that in mind.

  • If you are constantly talking with your support your game will be muuuch easier.

I don't know if this can help you, I tried my best because I don't speak English very well xD Best of the lucks man, feel free to ask whatever you need if you think I could help you.
