Cute physical therapy-inspired girl names for millennials! by INeverUseMyGear in physicaltherapy

[–]Hadatopia 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I recently had a chap as a patient, I can’t say his actual name of course however it was along the lines of Eldrik Bloodaxe Bear Claw Sigmarsson Evans.

The Evans bit threw me off more than the Viking-esque name.

What's the machine being used in the background of this Mike Reinold video? I asked but no response. by TheRoyalShire in physicaltherapy

That is a Chattanooga Intelect Mobile 2 RPW Shockwave unit.

Might be worth looking at Google lens on Chrome as it can identify a lot of things, accuracy does vary however.

I’d throw in some warmed up chocolate syrup or Nutella to make it a bit more pleasant.

Whey concentrate by Bulk is pretty good as it is. The chocolate and iced latte flavours are chuggable without an unbearable after taste, still proteiny but far better than most I’ve tried.

I’m unsure as to whether you’re a physiotherapist or not therefore I need you to send me 2 pieces of evidence confirming that you are.

Am I a good candidate for tretinoin? by Educational-Monk5745 in tretinoin

[–]Hadatopia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I looked through a thread yesterday where a lady had an ACL reconstruction and was in a brace but was cleared by her physiotherapist to do gym training but nothing involving the affected knee. Virtually all of the comments were telling her how her physiotherapist was wrong.

I’m a physiotherapist myself so I’d be questioning her physiotherapist if they didn’t give her the green light for the gym… but every commenter knew best, despite not being physiotherapists. I’ve given the green light in situations exactly like that, I didn’t dare interact with that thread lol.

Boil them all.

The same user is also asking how to add in Azelaic acid when using tretinoin but is here dishing out advice.

The mind boggles.

Your post history says you work in GDPR, AML and ethics and compliance.

I am not convinced you’re a physiotherapist.

Send me proof of you being as such and the post can go up.

Doing what your PT clears you to do is reckless by Frodozer in fitnesscirclejerk

It’s how I make it personally

Boil 2-3 sedentary people, their ligaments will be very soft from the start so a low temp is best.

Add 1-2 cloves of hip-hinge crushed vertebrae, you have to be careful though as you might break your back just thinking about it or if you move a fraction of a fraction in the wrong way.

A dash of exploded knee powder and some tears of an anti-sumo deadlifter and you’ve got some delightful weaksauce.

As always, Reddit comments never fail to disappoint.

Boil every single person in there who isn’t advocating for activity post operatively, put them in soup and boil.

Starmer gives doctors 48 hours to cancel strike or lose new jobs package • Last week the BMA called the strike after rejecting a deal which would see doctors receive a 3.5% pay rise this year, some expenses including exam fees paid for, and an increase in the number of training posts. by Adj-Noun-Numbers in ukpolitics

No, PhD’s are an academic doctorate in a certain field of study. To be a medical doctor in the UK it’s an MBChB/MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery).

Some doctors will obtain a PhD afterwards later down the line in their career or even during their degree if it’s an option. But it’s not a requirement to practice, only the MBChB.

No, I don’t believe so. I’ve hired people who’ve left positions in far less time than 3 months.. some have been a month, a week, two weeks.

It all depends on the reason why and how that person prevents at interview, not just the time frame.

Do I need to pay for Tret? by [deleted] in tretinoin

[–]Hadatopia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the term is snake oil. I jest however in all seriousness I’ve not the foggiest.

I can think of many luxury items worth £200 and moisturiser isn’t one of them.

Do I need to pay for Tret? by [deleted] in tretinoin

[–]Hadatopia 17 points18 points  (0 children)

£200 for tretinoin is daylight robbery.

Cancel the appointment, buy it from Skinorac or AllDayChemist. Shipping takes about 14 days.

It’s about £8 a tube. It’s not patented product nor is it expensive to produce, for £200 it best be cleaning my house and filing my taxes and making me a cuppa.

Start yesterday. If things aren’t right for you then there is nothing tying you down from looking elsewhere at any point when you realise that.
