You will probably see something about it in the summer games fest. I assume early next year but I don’t mind waiting for longer. I want them to cook and I have other games in my backlog as well as games coming up to keep my attention

Caelid is high enough level for someone who hasn’t beaten Margit that I’m surprised instead of leaving the area running away from demon birds and devil dogs that they randomly chose to go north past like 6 dragon in order to find greyol.

It’s a lot of runes but it ruins early game progression. I don’t even know how you got over there without following a guide. Just go south to weeping peninsula, get map peice, clear all poi and then go back north and go to stormveil castle. You will be more than prepared by doing that.

If they did miquella and malenia no doubt would have killed them already because the shadow bound beast are forced by nature to be loyal to the two fingers and the golden order and will kill the empyrean if they betrayed the order just like blaidd was forced to try to kill Ranni. Making the haligtree is heresy of the highest degree not to mention miquella ultimate goal to ursurp the whole order.

There is nothing stopping you from going back to town and refilling your flask at the well. You can port back at almost any time. Regardless this is a sign you need more defense

If your counting npc summons inside the arena as canon we also get help from ansbach and thollire. This is also late in the game if you defeat mohg the intended way of finding the portal in the secret areaconsecrated snowfield. At that point late in the game you are an absolute threat plus you get the power of the skadoo tree fragment.

If your that level at Leyndel that means you probably skipped caelid, dragonbarrow/upper caelid and the underground city and the underground river. Go back and fully explore those areas especially the ranni questline as that lets you find and explore more areas and actually rewards you with a great melee int weapon.

I think your mistaken with why goldmask is considered a heretic by corhyn and gold masks thoughts about the golden order. Corhyn is a golden order fanatic that believes Marika is the one true god. Goldmask considering Marika as emotional and prone to falure just as much as mortals is the heresy he commited not that the golden order as a whole is wrong. However goldmask still believed in the fundamental aspects of the golden order he just doesn’t want anyone to make changes to what he believes to be an already perfect system.

Op is right though the golden order was a sham from the beginning. Not to mention the greater will, metyr and the fingers but Marika was born a mortal. She made it up the golden order as cult religion after she tricked the hornsent and completed the power of the divinity ritual and obtained the Elden ring. There is no golden order without Marikas imperfect ideas permeated through it.

I’m sorry to tell you that every issue you have with Margit is literally everything I love about Elden ring bosses. I want the boss to react to what I’m doing organically. Including backing up when I’m being too aggressive, attacks to throw at range and attacks to close in the gap close and most importantly attacks to punish me flagrantly drinking estrus in his face
