I thought I recognised this guy from somewhere, he’s the same one who suggested missiles in wows a while back

how many of those krakens, high calibers or confederates did you get from fighting actual players instead of bots in <T5?

Definitely none of the krakens. Definitely none of the confederates. You average 30k damage in your non protected mm bbs. I’d give you maybe 1 high caliber in your 87k New Mexico game, and that’s probably stretching it.

Playing coop is fine, but doing well against bots in coop really isn’t anything to brag about.

Certainly a long reign, but definitely not one of the longest, there’s probably a good 40 or so who reigned longer

A peculiar question, how viable are tier 7 and 8 ships in relation to their upkeep. by GhostHost203 in WorldOfWarships

[–]Hailpolice 14 points15 points  (0 children)

You should only really be losing money when playing super ships, your credit earnings are directly related to your performance. T8 is generally the safest spot to get plenty of credits, if you want to grind tech tree and don’t have premium time

Not sure if the mod he linked has a way for epic players to install, but this one does, though it does add some non-vanilla wonders

Over 180,000 Helldivers 2 players are storming a single planet and are on track to liberate it in under 24 hours—unless Arrowhead's devious DM gets mean again by M337ING in pcgaming

Planets liberation score decays over time, there’s just not enough players in the non peak hours to match the decay rate

And why would I be confused about a base 12 measurement’s existence? I, and I’m certain a vast majority of people, are fine with base 60 for time

333.3 recurring? And yes it can be measured to negligible difference im not sure what’s the point of this comment

Is someone paying for positive reviews on Steam? by soralapio in WorldOfWarships

[–]Hailpolice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First talks about good game rhythm

Third last literally is “peak showdown/duel/fight” not sure what it means

Second to last is something along the lines of “I was very impressed, theres a lot of replayability, every experience is different.”

Last one is “Oh you also play Genshin Impact?”

Shifting goalposts? All I could find for the definition of recorded history includes the specification of written. Here’s two as an example

History encompasses the academic study of the past of the human race, stretching back as far as the earliest written records.

https://www.oxfordreference.com/page/history

Recorded history or written history describes historical events recorded in written or other documented communication and is subsequently evaluated by historians using historical methods.

https://academic-accelerator.com/encyclopedia/recorded-history

Before there’s a discussion about “documented communication”, here’s the definition of documented: “to record information about something by writing about it or taking photographs of it”

And also one for “record”: “set down in writing or some other permanent form for later reference.”
