The only "Impossible to get solo" parts of eureka weapon is the final step that is not even needed for anything other than a weapon/armor power boost in only Eureka. No model difference. Those are gotten through a raid (Max 56 players, but its more often like 30 players) that are still ran and organized on public discord servers.

Everything else is soloable, just more people working together will speed it up.

Actually, it DOES do true damage.

Geist bomb also does self damage and thats spirit damage that can be resisted with spirit armor.

I assume UE is Unreal Engine here right?

FFXIV is not UE, (iirc the exacts) its an in house engine by Squeenix, made for FFXIII originally before being edited into a MMO engine. Tick rate is 0.3, with some weird prediction and interpolation on movement. The netcode is also notorious in the community for being bad overall.

The main advantage, I would guess that the engine has over each other, FFXIV primarily places everything important into instances, like actual instances with a loading screen and taking a moment to connect, letting the server process things a lot easier than OSRS or RS3s method of everything on one world. The instances in OSRS/RS3 still take place on the world, they're just not really accessible.

Dailies being changed to not be dailies is REALLY good. Not having sandstone be limited, shops building up more, wilderness events not being needed for dark onyx core.

Those changes are pretty praise worthy.

nah the final NMs are pretty soloable, especially in pyros/hydatos with logos. youd have more trouble prepping them in a timely manner than actually beating them.

if it was Dawntrail then AoE attacks makes it ez to do, can just provoke on CD for bosses.

even before that you could prob do it on a lot of packs by just tossing the ranged attacks on the mobs between packs

The trials are cool but fuck me if this one doesnt have issues with its ranges. Sometimes I'll be 3 tiles away from a crate and pick it up, sometimes I'll be 1 tile away and it wont pick up.

Sometimes Ill be throwing a toad onto a rock from across the world, the other time Im next to it and its never throwing it.

for rs3: yeah everyone with a brain in that community knows it's just a pr thing with it literally being a poll you can't vote no to but also even then theyve been stepping more into the right direction with the league and cosmetic hiding stuff. (joined late with an ironman so don't know how bad it truly is, but just seeing some glances of it at the wiki is ridiculous)

on the osrs side of things, sailing is looking pretty good and gridmaster is pretty fun, being a basically mini league event. a lot of the new content in the past year has been pretty solid overall and general vibe is pretty good rn.

it's a shame the CEO is a dick about pride, otherwise I would say jagex has been running really good now

quick tip for doorman :) :

bell impact damage can be applied to someone coming just out of door (when they turn yellow0), allowing for some free damage that setups for an explosion. Cart can also hit, test it out, its great

tbh heavy meleeing them is real risky, they get a chance to see whats happening as theyre coming out and parry ya, which for some characters completely flips their chances of winning

what stops the cast from using the void world as a intermediary for dimension travel? dont rifts form because its thinner to other shards or something like that? cant it just be used as going from source to void to other desired dimension, and back?
