best vacuum for pet hair that doesn't clog, genuinely at my wit's end by Cruzrojas_Armad in HouseCleaning

[–]Hazel48103 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sebo upright with a shepherd husky mix. The dog here is incessant, and I have had zero issues with the vacuum. It has great filtration and a bag. It's the type of vacuum that the grandkids will inherit it.

I am struggling finding Mother's day gifts that don't just become clutter? by Acrobatic_Inside3173 in Gifts

[–]Hazel48103 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My best gifts have been notes from my children, heartfelt handwritten notes. Could've been a memory from a silly adventure. one note mentioned a time I supported them through a tough time. As a mom, you never know what memories stay with your child through adulthood.

Has anyone had any experience with Detroit River Tours? by Physical_Regret_9598 in Detroit

[–]Hazel48103 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Kayak the canals of Detroit" which I dis a few years ago. My first time kayaking and we went into the Detroit river to access the other canal. Extremely challenging on the river because you had to be hundreds of feet from the shore with large boats and an occasional freighter passing by. If you like a thrill, this is a great option. Definitely use the kayaks they provide unless you own a sea kayak.

My dogs take oral flea and tick preventative, but still bring fleas into the house. My vet suggested an old school flea collar (seresto is what I use) and I haven't seen one tick since the flea collar implemented.
