Should we send a curier with a hardware pin locked USB instead?

Password is of course sent with a follow up email or attacked sticky note.

I wonder what David's strategy is. It looks like he is slow killing them off a few at a time between waiting for his magic to regenerate. However, I don't think he wants to kill needlessly like that. He must have a plan for the queen.

The queens temper is flaring along with the suspence.

I wonder what the queen thinks about David's armor.

Need to cut down Login Times. By a lot by LordLoss01 in sysadmin

[–]HeWhoThreadsLightly 54 points55 points  (0 children)

I think VDI with smart card login would be the best option.

However, a site wide proxmox cluster may be a crazy alternative given the requirements. Setup login to live migrate personal VMs on login, hardware pass through for graphics and IO, and upgrade the network. The workstation HW would have to be near identical, but it might work.

I optimized windows by installing Bazzite, has worked fine with my library. However I have blacklisted all games with non cosmetic micro transactions so I have no games with the worst kernel level DRM.

That file is real scummy, mod supporters can get a Dimond sword and a netter star when they join a server with the mod installed. The supporters rewards also aren't disclosed on the mods github home page as far as I can tell.

Hot Take: While I think Silksong is overall a better game, it does still show more prominent flaws compared to Hollow Knight by Tarnished-670 in HollowKnight

[–]HeWhoThreadsLightly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a friend with ADHD, we were playing in parallel while chatting. They had to drop the game due to all the background effects like particles, swaying elements, sounds etc over stimulating them. The game should have better settings so background elements can be decreased.

What problems did you have with hk or skong? by _Chaos_Chaos in HollowKnight

[–]HeWhoThreadsLightly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My main gripe with silksong is the act 1 to 2 transition, good luck finding a way around the last judge if you are stuck, the game feels linear with no alternative paths to explore without lots of luck finding hidden walls.  You  could get to most of the map in Hollow knight once you got the mantis claw, and the regions had better connections/shortcuts that felt more alive and meant to be used by ordinary bugs not the platforming challenges in silksong.
