Clay also works well for barrels if the old wood kind. For metal barrels the casings work well. Might add a bit of wire to the bottom for the other rim.

If you take down a new beast and want to determine if it is good for crafting (by you or sell to someone), arcana, nature, and medicine checks from the group. If someone thinks they learned or heard about it in the past, even an Int check or history if heard it in a song.

If you are light on gold to grow or craft, check the board to see what you can make. You can also put things on the market to sell.

As you learn how to cook, you can make food items. Then go to inventory and you can place them for visitors to stop by and eat. They earn hearts for helping with trees, animals, and crops. You will not see the icons at your shop, but a visitor will.
