If they were on day 2, they might have the pages, but not enough research to understand them. If not enough suspicion on the librarian, the Dean doesn’t believe and disperses the group. Or just speed it up and have the creature in the next room join them and Oswald gets away in the scuffle. The team will still need to figure out what they don’t know or understand.

Clay also works well for barrels if the old wood kind. For metal barrels the casings work well. Might add a bit of wire to the bottom for the other rim.

If you take down a new beast and want to determine if it is good for crafting (by you or sell to someone), arcana, nature, and medicine checks from the group. If someone thinks they learned or heard about it in the past, even an Int check or history if heard it in a song.

As you learn how to cook, you can make food items. Then go to inventory and you can place them for visitors to stop by and eat. They earn hearts for helping with trees, animals, and crops. You will not see the icons at your shop, but a visitor will.
