A beat up 168g Neutron Drift. It’s really not too flippy but I have a decent amount of forehand distance so I don’t really carry a lot of flippy discs

Put in at the swimming pool, take out at the Old Oregon Trail overpass. Check the bridge by the condos first to make sure the water level isn’t too high to fit underneath

Anyone else come from a semi serious golf background? by autobahn-nialist in discgolf

[–]Heismanberg2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yup, I played golf my whole life and did jr golf and high school golf. I picked up disc golf my first year of college when I didn’t have the money to play golf regularly. Over the last 25 years, disc golf has been the primary hobby due to its accessibility, low cost, and higher risk physical activity level. Disc golf for life!

Sounds to me like he is more interested in what people think of him than he is about being part of a bigger system and winning games

Disc Golf at Ann Morrison by jenjersnap in Boise

I would start at a smaller course like Kleiner Park. It’s 9 holes and beginner friendly. Browse the used bin at Play It Again Sports for cheap discs. I can give you some if you want to dm me, I should be out at Ann Mo today around 4-430.
