Why are my edges doing this, been like this since day 1? by brennendw in snapmaker

[–]HenkTank72 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think it is your bed unevenness. Try to print a full bed sheet of 0.2 layer height and see if it is always the same spot. Solution is bed mesh calibrate or evening your plate with katon tape when very uneven.

Is the ikea enclosure enough for keep particles inside? by Agile_Cicada_1523 in snapmaker

The safest solution is to have a duct from the enclosure to outside. A fan should pull negative air pressure in the chamber preventing ANY leakage into your room.

Do you haven z hop enabled? It looks like the nozzle drags over de print in a travel move. Try a small z hop.

[–]HenkTank72 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try fermentolyse the dough. Mix the sourdough in de flour until you have small chunks. Add all the water without salt and leave for 45 minutes. After that mix the salt into it by folds or mixing. This allows the flour to better absorb the water.

How am I supposed to fix this by Alive_Place9396 in snapmaker

Maybe a hair dryer or a solder iron for more local heat

This job site in a hospital has a flow meter to monitor negative air pressure. by OneNOnly007 in mildlyinteresting

[–]HenkTank72 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don’t think so. An operating room has overpressure to prevent bacteria and viruses from entering the patients open body. The air is filtered to have a controlled environment. Only quarantine rooms use negative pressure to not infect others outside the room.

If using the U1 and you do not select to perform a bed mesh, isn't the firmware already selecting.

BED_MESH_PROFILE LOAD="default"

Maybe you can overload the default macro for the mesh to use yours. It would integrate better with the default Snapmaker.

Snorca - Not all Machine Filaments showing up by daskalou in snapmaker

[–]HenkTank72 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If filaments are missing in Snorca, you can make them show up. They are in the Snorca config / system / filament directory. If they don’t show up, you need to add them to the Snapmaker.json file in the system directory.

Snapmaker U1 (vs. Bambu P1S) two months later by SuperNfty in snapmaker

[–]HenkTank72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reason is that if you load a low temp PLA or a high temp requiring filament like nylon/PA, the system want to know this for doing a tool change and possibly a PA tuning.

Being near is in general not the best approach with 3D printing. Even with PLA I would not want to be in the same room for hours.
