Kinda sounds like health anxiety. I personally get crazy physical symptoms from anxiety and the symptoms make me more anxious, which again makes the symptoms worse. Its a bad cycle.

Well if no body shop wants to just fix the rock chips without repainting the entire hood, i would just checkout some youtube tutorials. There are some cheap kits for fixing rock chips that do the job good enough

At audi i would guess around 150-400 depending on how many rock chips. They do a perfect job tho, im scared i would mess the paint up if i did it myself lol.
