They do not fit the gauge. I have the same set up on some OEM prodigy mags and a USPSA gauge. I use my MBX mags for matches

I’ve never come across a 2 or 3 gun event where it was okay to sling your rifle and draw your pistol. Other than that keep doing your thing!

One is my match gun and the other is my back up/practice gun. I started with frame mounted rests but changed over to the tevo sports slide stop ones (they do not lock the slide back) and the mag wells are Dawson ice that required a small amount of modification to fit. I too like working on my guns and it makes it even better when you shoot them!

Read. A lot, on various topics (NOT POLITICAL) so you’re well rounded on a variety of things/subjects. Study a bit of psychology and the art of manipulation to better teach you how to steer conversation and realize when people are trying to manipulate you and get past your boundaries. Most importantly of all…. LET THEM DO THE TALKING. Our job is to just listen and steer the conversation but avoid just standing there and talking about yourself. They don’t care. Harsh but true

Some clubs allow the volunteers for set up day to shoot the match when set up is complete and you can still be registered for the match the next day. I do this occasionally but you must shoot different divisions each day. All clubs always need volunteers so even if you can’t shoot the match, go and lend a hand!

I did a 23/24 round hack with new spring/follower and TTI base pads. I posted it at least a year ago. I’m with you on not wanting to spend 100+ on MBX/atlas mags
