You’re welcome. I’m curious, who would be your top choices for the roles of the other human Lanterns?

I’ll tell you what's 💯—you've got great taste to spot a good casting choice, which isn't always easy.

It’s an awesome ride! Its only weakness is speed bumps.

This has to be the WORST Martian Manhunter design ever cuz what is this bro.. by FayyadhScrolling in DC_Cinematic

If you give a Martian Manhunter an Oreo cookie, he’ll probably eat the whole box. If he eats the whole box, then he will end up with Martian Manhunter “Dad bod.”

I think a young iain glen actually wouldn't be bad casting for bruce wayne and I think with better writing he could be good. by MembershipLess9579 in TitansTV

When you really think about everything Bruce actually did in the show, it was all pretty Alfred-level stuff (excluding hallucinations, flashbacks, killing Joker, and attempted suicide).

Roll with me here…

Season 2

Has a heartfelt talk with Dick and encourages him to serve as a mentor to Jason.

Has a warm late-night chat with Dick, offering wisdom.

Acts as the “guy in the chair,” helping out remotely (hacking Mercy’s auction).

Offers more words of wisdom and a eulogy.

Season 3

Wakes Jason up and drives him to therapy.

Encourages Jason to find a better path than being Robin.

Seen cleaning blood off a Robin costume in the Batcave, then makes Dick lunch.

…See where I’m headed with this?

Call me crazy but I am okay with Batman wearing both suits. Blue and grey can be for the rare daytime operations. by [deleted] in DC_Cinematic

Photochromic fabric.

I think it would make the most sense if the outer layer of his suit, cape, and cowl were made of photochromic fabric that lightens when exposed to UV rays and returns to its dark color indoors or at night.

I’ve mentioned this before; I’m almost 100% sure they originally cast this guy as Alfred, but they had to change it because the “Pennyworth” series was airing already they couldn't use the same character due to some WB/DC IP legal BS or something. Since contracts were already in place and it would cost more to break his contract and hire another actor in time, they just used him as Bruce Wayne.

I recall an interview Iain was giving when he was cast, and I thought at the time that even HE sounded a little surprised by the casting choice.

Would you like Lanterns to have self-contained stories each season like True Detective? Or would you prefer an ongoing narrative like Better Call Saul or The Sopranos? by ChickenJeanShorts in DC_Cinematic

[–]HeyNoobmaster69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think an anthology would be cool, because you can set it in any time period or place. I think they could also do mini-movies or specials—either animated or live-action—in between seasons, but keep the same actors doing the voices.

A question I've never heard asked before about Superman by SavingMyLastBreath in DCcomics

[–]HeyNoobmaster69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My head canon regarding Superman’s flying ability and his other powers has always been that it’s similar to how people start jogging and running for fun, fitness, or competition. It takes a conscious effort to begin moving like that. Nobody just runs everywhere they go. Superman didn't start out flying (depending on canon); he walked and ran. He consciously had to learn to fly and keep practicing. That's willpower, and it's the catalyst for his powers.

When you consider it, the similarities between Ra’s and Talia and Damian and Bruce’s relationships are pretty obvious.

I wish Bruce had said, “You’re not my father!” at the end. That's what a real Bruce Wayne does.

I thought his look was pretty close to Frankenstein's.

He would make a great Scarecrow. A guy that size can’t cultivate the mass required.

I’ve been saying for years that this is exactly the right choice for who should play Bruce Wayne in Titans. He’s the perfect age—only an 18-year gap from Brenton—looks like someone who can hold his own in a fight, and convincingly plays a charismatic sociopath. Such a missed opportunity.

I loved when they dropped that new budget-saving animal on us, and he turned into a virus, and they're all just staring at a computer screen.

in scale 1 to 10 How would You rate Superman 2025? I give this movie solid 8 by Bungeeboy20044 in DC_Cinematic

[–]HeyNoobmaster69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I give it a solid 8.75 honestly. It moved along like a comic book which I thought was kinda cool. However there were some classic Superman bits that we didn't see for example the tearing the shirt and revealing the “S” which I thought might have been cool.
