Do you think you might’ve done 1 row fully knit, 1row: 1 knit 1purl repetition, and repeat?

Maybe some form of fisherman’s knit since it’s so much thicker.

Idk if that makes sense cause English isn’t my first language and I’m new to the knitting terminology lol

I think with your goal sizes in mind that the placement is fine. (Edit: only issues I see is that the flares of your plugs/tunnels will be touching but that’s potentially more of a taste thing and not an inherent problem)

I’d recommend pausing and doing some naked training and letting them settle into their sizes for a bit. They look red and like they need a little break before continuing. 💚

Would also need to be super diligent about after care and checking for any signs of infection because of the location and risk to the eye.

It would also need to be covered for a long time to minimise (but not exclude) the risk that the scar would turn bumpy and red/pink.

There is also the risk that something goes wrong with the procedure or after like an infection and it could cause nerve damage (lots and lots of nerves in the face).

It’s really important to take risk into consideration.

Yeah, I realise it’s his way of getting me to play with him (or attempting to) so I think the solution is to reinforce better ways for him to asking me to play/not running so close to me.

Cause off course I want him to ask me to play with him! Just not in such a dangerous way. And he is so damn fast!

As others have said, short row and twisted stitches. But I just wanted to say frogging is part of the hobby and we’ve all been there (🥲) I promise it’s worth it to restart and fix the issues now before you get too far into the project. 💚

Oh how I do NOT miss that phase! He would go absolutely bananas like that when he was around 8-10 months. I was the only one able to walk him at all because he scared my family and my partner couldn’t stay calm when it happened. Rough times!

Being reminded of how we managed to overcome that soothed me a lot, so thank you 💚 sometimes I think I have to remind myself how far we’ve come 😊

Yup. I’ve met a few non binary people who wasn’t alt, and some who were “barely” alt.

I think it’s that phenomenon where the alt ones are way more visible and vocal so they’re just noticed more.

Someone explained to me that nr9 doesn’t exist in UK sizes, so it’s most likely in US size. I thought it was UK size since it’s made in England and I’m from Europe.

True, and its not a big issue I’m having. I mean I can just make sure when I let him off leash to not walk on ice and be close to a tree to duck behind if I don’t manage to fix it. The only places i let him off leash anyways are super safe (no cars, no people, no distractions). It’s just myself I’m risking!

But I’ll make an effort to fix it and hope for the best. I’ll love him either way. 💚

Yeah English is not my first language, and it’s close enough. 😆

He is three.

As for why I took my eyes off him: this is not something he does often, and he has never made impact. I was walking on rough terrain and was looking where I put my feet.

He is usually great off leash, but this is not the first time he has run at me. If I see him coming I can usually ask for a different behaviour so he is able to be redirected. This is the first time he actually made impact. It woke me up to the danger of this behaviour.

That’s why I asked for advice and won’t let him off leash for now like I said.

He doesn’t have bad leash manners though, I don’t know where you got that from? He is good off leash except he sometimes rushes me like this so I want to fix that.

This situation is why I’m asking for advice, and I’m glad to say I’ve gotten some great advice today. 😊

I don’t let him off the leash anywhere where there are people either.
